Riverside camping site. 3 miles North of the old market town of Machynlleth, next to the Centre for Alternative Technology.
The very popular Dyfi Bike Park is half a mile from the camping site.
Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur`s labyrinth nearby.
On Sustrans cycling route No8.
Great mountain biking nearby : Cli-Machx trail, Mach 1, 2 & 3 bike trails.
Aberdovey and seaside 9 miles.
Cader Idris 6 miles.
The camping site has been extensively relaid with 4200 square metres of turf and similar area of hardstanding for caravans and dormobiles with easier vehicle access.
We have improved the drinking water standpipes on site and installed a refuse recycling bin area, new toilet and shower facilities.
Nearby Attractions
The Centre for Alternative Technology is 250 yards and well worth a visit.
The Dyfi Bike park is near by, about half a mile. This is a great downhill mountain bike experience.
King Arthur`s Labyrinth and the Corris Craft Centre is 2.5 miles.
Corris Mine Explorers : Explore an abandoned Welsh slate mine with a guide.
Cli-machx cycling trail 1.25 miles.
Tafarn Dwynant, a great little pub 1 mile up the lane, nice walk to work up a thirst and an appetite.
