Kneep Campsite sits on the grassy dunes of Traigh na Beirigh (Reef Beach) benefiting from the wonderful beach and spectacular views.

Showers require a £1 coin to operate

Not all pitches have a sea view but you are never more than a couple steps away from the beach.
Traigh na Beirigh is the name of the bay on whose grassy dunes the campsite sits - the site is owned by the Cnip villagers through a community trust.
The village itself is 40 miles from the Isle of Lewis` only real town, Stornoway.
Nearby Attractions
You are spoilt for choice for beaches along the Uig coastline some within walking distance of the campsite and other a short drive away, but you will always be sure to find something breath-taking whatever the weather.
There are many Norse mills dotted across the Isle of Lewis, a couple within walking distance from the campsite. One can be found across the wetland behind the campsite and the other above the waterfall at Cliff beach

Owner Directions
From Stornoway follow the A859 to Leurbost and turn right to Achmor. Then take the B1011 to Miabhig. Take a right and follow the road through Cliobh to Cnip. Stop at house number 15 at the bottom of the hill to pay.
There is a bus service (no. W4) from Stornoway to Uig with a separate service for the loop road through Cnip
