Pitches: 40
Tyn Rhos Caravan and Camping site is a small family friendly site. It was established over 50 years ago by Hefin and Elizabeth Hughes on their farm in the village of Penysarn in the North East of Anglesey and is now run and managed by their daughter Sharon Evans and her husband Ian.
Long and short stays are welcomed,a few seasonal pitches a on site toilets and showers and pitches with an electric hook up are available on request.
Dogs and children are welcome- we have a separate dog walking area but request that dogs remain on a lead at all times.
Stable and paddock can be pre booked - bring your horse on holiday !
Llwyfo Welsh Mountain Ponies can be seen on the site
Ideally located for a relaxing getaway or within easy reach of a variety of activities for the more active.
The village shop is a two minute walk away and for those who like walking the circular walk around Mynydd Eilian with its spectacular views across the whole of Anglesey begins in the village centre, this also takes you close to the renowned Anglesey Coastal Path (125 miles of beautiful coastline).
Nearby Attractions
A number of beaches are within easy reach, a five or ten minute car journey will take you to a selection of sandy or pebbly coves - Eilian, Porth Llechog, Lligwy, Traeth yr Ora, Moelfre and Dulas.
You are also 2 miles away from the indoor pool at the Amlwch Leisure Centre.
From the site you can see the wonderful colours of Mynydd Parys, an eighteenth century copper mine that once supplied the world`s copper, now recognised as a world heritage site.
Two minutes in the car will take you to the Parys car park where you can follow a trail around the old copper mines.
Fishing trips go out from the port in Amlwch, dont forget to look out for the porpoise !

Owner Directions
Once on the island follow the A5025 towards Amlwch.
Follow through the villages of Pentraeth and then Benllech.
Keep left at the roundabout (still on the A5025) towards Amlwch . 5 miles from the roundabout you will approach the village of Penysarn, take the first turning right off the by-pass into the village itself. You will then see a bus shelter on the right , turn right immediately after the bus shelter into a housing estate then come over the cattle grid up to the site.( The post code LL69 9YR will bring you to Chapel Street nearby)
