Description
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only.
Pitches: 5 CAMC Members Only
Southwick Farm is situated approximately half way between Birmingham and Bristol (40 miles from each) and is located an easy 5 minutes drive from the M5 motorway junction 9.
Our CL is an ideal place to break your journey when going North, South, East or West. Sat Nav use GL20 7DD (Hoo Lane)
Southwick Farm is a peaceful site located on a family working farm in the Gloucestershire countryside. Surrounded by lovely open fields, and ideal for dogs.
The site is located in a sheltered field with electrical hook-ups and space for awnings. Pitches are grass, but there is a hardstanding in the event of bad weather.
Children and dogs are welcome at the site and a warm reception is always guaranteed. Please note there are no shower or toilet facilities, there is an elsan emptying point, and rubbish bins are available.
The main bus route is just a short walk away with buses to Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Gloucester and all the surrounding district. Ideal for visitors with motorhomes.
The historic town of Tewkesbury with its wonderful Abbey provides a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. Visitors can also enjoy a lovely walk along the river Severn.
There is a footpath from the site, across country into Tewkesbury a 20 minutes walk.
Nearby Attractions
Our site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. Close by is the historic town of Tewkesbury with its wonderful Abbey and rivers Severn and Avon.
There is also a reenactment of the "Wars of the Roses" Battle of Tewkesbury which is held in July each year.
The town provides a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. Visitors can also enjoy a lovely walk along the river Severn.
The famous Cotswold Hills are a few minutes drive away offering stunning natural countryside and gorgeous Cotswold villages with a huge selection of eating places and a range of attractions too numerous to list.
The famous spa town of Cheltenham with its famous Racecourse and Georgian architecture is 10 minutes away as is the county town of Gloucester with its Cathedral and famous redeveloped Docks.
Tewkesbury is 1.5m north of the site, only a 30 minute walk.
