Daphne`s Orchard is a peaceful, relaxing retreat, small but beautiful. We are an adult only retreat for 30 and overs. We do not accommodate large parties.
Pitch your own tent, caravan or motorhome near to excellent facilities and a wildlife filled pond.
There are a number of excellent hardstanding and grass pitches with some electric hook-ups, on a spacious field.
Site facilities include luxury toilets and showers, which have been recently upgraded.
We`re in walking distance from a rural Derbyshire village
Open year round.
People have stayed at Daphne`s Orchard for a few years now, and many return year after year!
The site is found at one end of a quiet village with thatched cottages and a welcoming village pub. It`s a place to experience country life and a great location if you`d like to go off and explore.
The pond is a focal point of the orchard with its abundance of wildlife, and if you sit very still, you might even see kingfishers.
Luxury Retreats
We now have Stargazer Barn and Crabapple Cottage for rental, and Piglet our wonderful shepherds hut - built on site to a traditional style, using a combination of new & reclaimed materials, sleeping 2 comfortably, with a shower room & kitchen
Nearby Attractions
You`ll be just three quarters of a mile from Castle Donington with its many shops, bars and restaurants.
The cosy village pub is a three minute walk away.
There are plenty of walks including the airport trail.
Access to all major road networks .

We are a adult only site Non electric grass pitch £26.00 per night (max 2 people) Electric grass pitch £33.00 per night (max 2 people) electric included. Electric hard standing pitch £35.00 per night (max 2 people) electric included. dogs £2.00 per night (maximum of 2) extra car £2.00 per night a minimum of a 2 night stay applies, payment by bank transfer. We do not cater for large parties Crabapple Cottage A minimum 3 night stay. Accommodates 2 people £300.00 Sleeps upto 4 people, £60.00 extra per person. Stargazer Barn A minimum 3 night stay. Accomodates 2 people £300.00 ? Piglet A minimum 2 night stay. Accomodates 2 people £250.00

Owner Directions
Take junction 24 of the M1 and then turn onto the A50. Take the turning for Castle Donington and then the first turning off the island for Hemington.
Follow the road through the village and you`ll see the Jolly Sailor pub on the right.
Follow the road round to the small village green carry on up the hill and the site is the first turning on the left.
