York House Hotel & Caravan Park
We are a quiet family-friendly site located within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. We welcome well-behaved pets and have a large, secure dog walking field.
We have two children`s play areas and a cafe bar on site. We also have a small shop selling sweets, drinks, basic groceries, and camping essentials.
We offer site-wide free internet access to our guests.
We are located between Whitby and Robin Hood`s Bay in the village of Hawsker on the A171 Whitby to Scarborough Road. There is a lovely pub in the village, a five-minute walk from site. There is also a bus which runs from the village to Middlesborough in one direction and Scarborough in the other.
There are many walks close by, including easy access to the Cinder Track and the Cleveland Way.
Nearby Attractions
Whitby, a picturesque harbour town with an ancient abbey and attractive streets filled with quirky independent shops.
Robin Hood`s Bay.
Scarborough.
North Yorkshire Moors Railway (runs from Whitby to Pickering).
Goathland - Heartbeat country - is only 9 miles from site.
Lots of lovely bays where you can go fossil hunting, including Saltwick Bay which you can walk to from the site.

Owner Directions
We are situated on the A171 Whitby to Scarborough road at High Hawsker. From Whitby take A171 towards Scarborough. When you reach the village of Hawsker, take a right turn after the road side sign for York House onto Back Lane. Our entrance is 50 metres on the left.
