Dove Meadows is the perfect place for a camping or caravanning holiday in the Penzance and St Ives area. Our site is conveniently located on the edge of Marazion, with glimpses of St Michael`s Mount, and is a great base from which you can explore the delights of west Cornwall.
4 minutes walk from the sandy beaches of Mounts Bay
5 minutes walk to bus services to Penzance, St Ives and further afield
10 minutes walk into the heart of Marazion with great places to eat and drink as well as galleries, Post Office and convenience store
We are adjacent to an RSBP nature reserve and cycle hire facilities are only a few minutes walk down the road.
Our spacious camp site has easy road access for touring caravans and motorhomes and we also have a number of tent pitches amongst our landscaped gardens with exotic plants.
Dove Meadows is a quiet site offering electric hook-ups, showers and toilet facilities. We don`t have a shop on site, but all your holiday needs are available from the centre of Marazion just a ten minute walk away.
Most of our pitches on our gently-sloping site have glimpses of St Michaels Mount.
We have a recently built ladies shower block with showers, washbasins and cubicles.
We are available all year to take your booking - our site is normally open from March to October.
Electric hook ups - max 10 amp use for caravans, motorhomes, vans and tents
Non - electric pitches are also available
(please note all pitches are grassed, we do not have any hard standing pitches)

Dish washing shed with drinking water, and running hot water. Washing up soap provided
2 chemical waste disposal and grey water disposal points
Recycling and waste disposal area
Separate ladies and mens facilities comprising:
3 Individual toilets
2 Showers (50p for 7 minutes of use*)
Wash basins- (hand soap is provided, but please bring your own personal toiletries)
Reception (open 9:30-7)
Ice pack chilling
Phone charging on request
Free Wifi around office area for light browsing
Information leaflets and maps
Book exchange
‘Tiny-shop with a few basic provisions and gifts, with the option of making an order for next day delivery.

Fish and Chip van on site twice a week during high season
Nearby Attractions
No stay at Dove Meadows is complete without a visit to St Michael`s Mount by ferryboat or by foot across the causeway. Marazion itself is a lovely town with many places to eat and drink as well as galleries, quaint streets, harbour and museum.
The soft, sandy beaches that line Mount`s Bay are a safe place for bathing and are patrolled by RNLI Lifeguards in the summer. There are many other lovely beaches and coves in the area.
Penzance is just a 10 minute bus ride or a leisurely cycle or walk along the coast path. Plenty of car parking available in the town. Other places to visit in the area include Newlyn, Mousehole, Porthcurno (with Telegraph Museum and Minack Theatre) and Land`s End.
St Ives is just 10 miles away and an open top bus service runs from Marazion in the summer months.

If you`re travelling towards Penzance on the A30, pass through the village of Crowlas - IGNORE SAT-NAV INSTRUCTIONS TO TURN LEFT AT CROSSROADS! At the Newtown Roundabout, stay in the left hand lane and take the second exit (signed Marazion Car Parks)
Turn left at the next junction. Once you`ve joined the road, the sea and St Michael`s Mount will be on your right
Take the second road on the left - it almost doubles back on itself, so please be careful when making this manoeuvre if you are towing a caravan or driving a large motorhome
Follow the lane as the road gently turns to the right
Dove Meadows will be straight ahead of you on the next bend
