Nestled in the grounds of a Georgian mansion and just a short walk from the Ullswater 'Steamers' Pier, the Park is an idyllic location for touring, self-catering holidays and private holiday homes. A perfect location for those that enjoy walking, cycling, watersports, outdoor activities and heritage. Excellent facilities on site including licensed Mansion Bar.

Ullswater, often compared to the likes of Lake Lucerne and referred to as Englands most beautiful lake. The lake runs a serpentine course in three reaches with Helvellyn crowning the plateau at the head of the lake; at 3117 ft it is Englands third highest mountain.

Waterfoot Park is easily accessed from the M6. Simply leave the motorway at Junction 40, head west along the A66 (signposted to Rheged and Ullswater 'Steamers'), then turn left on the A592. Follow the road for about three miles. If you reach the lake, you've gone too far! Please note we are not Sat Nav compatible follow main road form M6 and look for the Red Squirrel on the right
