Rosewall Camping at Osmington Mills is situated on the stunning Jurrasic Coastline surrounded by rolling hills of the scenic Dorset Countryside.
Our thirteen acre southerly camping field has spectacular sea views over Weymouth Bay, and the rolling hills of the surrounding Dorset countryside.
There are two modern toilet blocks both with showers, electric points, shaver points and washing-up facilities. The lower block also has disabled facilities and a laundry room. There is a further separate laundry room next to the upper toilet block and shop.
The camp shop operates seasonally and is well stocked with basic provisions as well as camping essentials including gas.
We are fully licensed for tents and motor-homes (sorry no hook-ups) and welcome families/couples and coast path walkers only.
Whether you are first-timers or seasoned campers we are sure that you will find our park the perfect place to explore, not only the treasures and beauty of the immediate area, but the wealth of attractions and things to do only a short distance away.
The bottom of the field leads you to the rocky/shingle beach which is ideal for investigating rock pools.
Just up the lane is a riding stables where you can have lessons. Contact the stables directly for more information on either 01305 833578 or email There is also course fishing available from our own lake, for which day tickets may be purchased from our main park reception.
Nearby Attractions
Shingle beaches at Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Ringstead Bay. Sandy beach at Weymouth. The historic county town of Dorchester. Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth are within easy driving distance. Day out visits to Corfe Castle, Studland, Blue Pool, Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, Abbotsbury Swannery, Monkey World, Tank Museum, Swanage Railway, Lyme Regis, Bridport, West Bay, Weymouth`s historic Harbour and Thomas Hardy`s Cottage are all popular with visitors.

Prices start from £10 per night for coast path walkers, all season. Prices for low, mid and high season are £25, £28, £35 to include 2 people and a tent/camper van. Single person stays are £15 low and mid season and £17.50 high season. Charges for extras, see website for full price list.

Owner Directions
Approaching from Wareham on the A352 Dorchester road, turn left at the A353 Weymouth junction. At the Osmington Mills sign, opposite the garage, turn left and follow the lane to our holiday park.
Approaching from Weymouth, follow the A353 Wareham road. Pass through Osmington village and turn right at the sign for Osmington Mills. Follow the lane to our holiday park.
We are five miles from Weymouth and there is a bus service during the summer school holidays.
