We are a family run business with accommodation to suit all needs. Whether you`re walking the West Highland Way or visiting the Tyndrum area we have some excellent accommodation options for you:

Motorhome Park:
We have 15 parking bays fitted with electrical and TV outlets and full waste disposal facilities.
Our Motorhome Park Features
15 individual bays.
Power and TV connections straight to your Motorhome.
Waste disposal facilities.
Free Wi-Fi.
Nice and quiet - we are set back from the main A82 road which runs through Tyndrum.
Woodland surroundings - our park is nestled in scenic Sottish woodland.

Campsite - Please note: We only take one or two man tents, nothing bigger than that.
We have a several areas within the campsite that are ideally suited to backpacking and hiking tents. If youre walking the West Highland Way, youll be glad to know that it passes right by our campsite (you actually walk past the front window of our Hostel).
We provide full facilities including a newly re-furbished shower/toilet block, drying room,and pot wash area.
We have on-site facilities for campers, including:
Indoor pot washing area.
Microwave, kettle and 2 ring hot plate.
Commercial washing machine and dryer.
Toilets and hot showers.
Bike store.
Drying room for all your outdoor clothes and boots.
Free Wi-Fi.

Hobbit Houses:
Our Hobbit Houses are extremely popular. They are ideal for families and feature 1 double, 2 single beds, TV, cooking facilities and a fridge.

4-Star Hostel:
Our Hostel has 26 comfortable beds in 8 rooms and has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and spacious common room.

Chalets:
We have comfortable fully fitted 4 and 6 person chalets at By The Way. They are Ideal for families or groups on longer stays and are fully equipped including Satellite TV and a DVD player.

Trekker Huts and Cabins:
Our Trekker Huts and Camping Cabins are an ideal wet weather options for campers. They have beds, heating and mostly importantly, nice and dry!
Nearby Attractions
We are surrounded by Munro`s and Corbets with about 50 being within 20 miles of Tyndrum and 4 walkable directly from By The Way.
Other activities nearby include fishing, golfing, mountain biking trails and numerous scenic routes for hikers and runners.
We are within walking distance of the village on Tyndrum which has Hotels, pub/restaurant, chip shop and mini-market.

Owner Directions
Road - were located in Tyndrum at the important Highland crossroads where the north-south Fort William and Glasgow route (A82) meets with the east-west Perth to Oban route (A85).
Rail - We are located just a few yards (literally) from Tyndrum Lower Station. This is the line which goes from Oban to Crianlarich, and continues onwards to Glasgow Queen Street.
Bus - were on a main bus route and all scheduled bus services coming along this important part of the road network will stop in Tyndrum.
Walking - you walk right past our front window on the West Highland Way. You can`t miss us!
