Smytham Holiday Park, a family run park in rural North Devon is set in 33 acres of parkland adjoining the old Manor House.
Smytham has a selection of self-catering holiday accommodation, from traditional camping and caravanning pitches to timber lodges, camping pods, and holiday homes.
Two facilities buildings with toilets, showers, wash cubicles, sinks, hair dryers, washing up areas, camping dishwasher and laundry.
The Park offers heated outdoor swimming pools, one with a mushroom water feature and sun patio sheltered within the old walled garden. For the children we have a games room with table football, pool, air hockey and table tennis a a small soft play area for young children. Outside play equipment, and outdoor games. Mini Golf. Bring your own bikes or hire them from reception and to enjoy all the open space. EV Chargers.
Pets are welcome we have a dog exercise paddock & hot water dog shower.
We have direct access on to the Tarka Trail for cycling and walking.
Gas bottles can be exchanged at the small shop at Reception.
Seasonal opening evening family bar. Friday & Saturday nights in June through to September and every night of school holidays in May and July & August.
In high season there are different food vans
every night.

"The Walled Garden" has grass pitches suitable for smaller tents requiring a standard pitch and located close to the pool. It also has a small covered kitchen area for those campers that arrive on foot or by bike. All pitches in the walled garden have 16 amp metered electric hook-ups.
"The Terraces" have standard hardstandings, all weather and grass, all pitches are level and come complete with 16 amp metered electric hook-ups.
Created in 2017 "The Orchard" boasts a variety of pitches including large, standard and serviced pitches. For those of us that enjoy the luxuries in life we even have en-suite pitches. These pitches have their own washroom and toilet in a timber clad cabin
There is a variety of activities for you to enjoy at Smytham Holiday Park in North Devon.
Take a relaxing swim in our heated outdoor swimming pool (open from the beginning of May to the end of September) or play table-top games in our purpose-built games room.
There is a volleyball/badminton on the lawn for you to enjoy along with a large open space in the valley which can be used for games such as football or cricket.
For the younger ones there is a large play area complete with swings, slides and climbing frames!
Nearby Attractions
Smytham Manor is a family run park situated 2 miles south of Great Torrington on the A386 Okehampton road.
The Park is centrally located for exploring the whole of North Devon, or even further afield.
Dartmoor is only half an hour away, and Westward Ho! is just twenty minutes by car.
We have direct access onto the world-famous Tarka Trail - an old railway line converted into a foot/cycle path where there are stops along the way to refresh yourself with a drink and a bite to eat in the beautiful Devon countryside.

Prices are per night for the unit (tent, caravan, motorhome, campervan), car and up to 2 people. Standard pitches from £30.00 to £47.00 Premium pitches from £35.00 to £53.00 Ensuite pitches from £50.00 to £67.00. New for 2026 metered electric 8Kwh included in pitch price in low season and 5Kwh in mid and high season. Price listed for electricity in the tariff is per each additional Kwh used. See our Fair Usage Policy for more details. Pets £2.50 each per night Extra age 3-17 £5.00 each per night. Extra people 18 and over £7.50 each per night
