Beddgelert campsite is the perfect location if youre looking for a tranquil, relaxing camping experience. Set within a conifer and broadleaf forest, Beddgelert campsite offers you a place to get away from it all, take in the local surroundings and get closer to nature.
Set within Snowdonia National Park and just a few minutes from the pretty Welsh village that shares its name, Beddgelert is an idyllic riverside location, surrounded by snow-capped mountains in an area of Wales that is steeped in legend.
The Colwyn River runs through the site, allowing nature lovers the opportunity to spot an otter.

Hard-standing pitches:
Our hard-standing pitches are located in an area with tree coverage and natural forest ground. All of our pitches are unique in size and are not uniform with each other. All hard-standing pitches have electrical hook up included in the price. Located near to the Welsh Highland Railway
Camping field:
Our camping field is located next to the scenic Afon Glaslyn on a small open field. No allocated pitches. Access to two shower units, additional available on the hard standing area. Limited car parking available next to the camping field. No vehicles permitted - motorised camping units, trailer tents and similar will require a hardstanding pitch.
On-location Train Station:
You can view the historic steams trains passing by on the Welsh Highland Railway, take long or short walks into Beddgelert Forest or follow the footpath to Beddgelert Village. You can grab a pub lunch, tasty homemade ice cream and view the most famous historic feature Gelerts Grave.
Hygiene Facilities:
We upgraded our hygiene facilities in 2022 from shared shower rooms and toilets to private individual facilities.
Our hard standing area has 10 individual rooms which include a shower, toilet, hairdryer, wash basin and heated towel rail. Two rooms are much larger with wet room style showers for families or those that require additional space for wheelchairs or accessibility requirements.
Our camping field has two private rooms with the same facilities. An additional toilet is located a short walk next to reception.
Facilities:
There is a shop on the site, selling groceries, hot drinks, snacks, fresh bread, drinks and camping equipment.
Bakehouse offering pre-order pastries, pizzas, curries and a great range of tasty takeaway foods
Dogs are welcome on the site and there are toilets and showers available, along with electric hook-ups.

Dogs
We are a dog-friendly location and allow up to 4 dogs to be booked for an additional charge per pitch. Drop by reception to pick up a complimentary tasty treat before setting off for a walk through some of Snowdonia`s great trails and walking routes.
If those paws get a bit muddy, then drop by the camping facilities block and use our outdoor dog wash station with fresh warm water to get a hose down.
Nearby Attractions
Beddgelert village is a mile from the site, with pubs, a bistro, a cafe and several craft shops.
The Beddgelert Forest is 700 hectares of conifer and broadleaf trees in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and within walking distance of Snowdon itself.
