We welcome touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and trailer tents to our holiday park in The Lake District. Our pitches are set in scenic positions around the park, with stunning views of the surrounding woodland and wildlife.
We have two pitch types to choose from
70 Standard pitches - electric hook up available if required (additional cost)
22 Premium pitches - water stand pipe, grey waste drain, electric hookup, TV hook-up, extra room and even a picnic table (extras listed are chargeable)
Stunning woodland grounds:
Youll discover over 100 acres of Woodland to explore too - great for Dog walking! We have also increased accessibility to much of the woodland with well over a mile of surfaced paths to allow for wheelchairs and buggys. These paths are the best way to see our spectacular Bluebell carpets each year.
Our well-stocked shop has all the essentials, toiletries, toys, groceries alongside local produce and gifts.
Our recently revamped childrens playground adds a whole new level of fun for the little adventurers. Old firm favourites such as the zip wire and all-weather sports pitch have stayed and been refurbished. Next to these, we now have a wide range of equipment to let the children swing, slide, see-saw, climb and spin their way to a good nights sleep (hopefully!).
We have now added a second play area, our woodland adventure course which weve seen being used by as many parents as children.
Some of our other facilities include:
5 acre recreation area with views to the surrounding fells and mountains, ideal for family picnics, a game of rounders or a spot of sunbathing (weather permitting!) you may even spot a Red Squirrel or family of Deer.
Fully equipped modern shower and toilet blocks. Two of the toilet blocks even have under-floor heating!
Trust Library featuring a wide and varied range of books for children and adults.
WiFi Internet access is also available.
Large spacious launderette with washing machines and tumble dryers as well as an extra-large washer and dryer for awkward loads. You`ll also find an ironing board and iron, laundry soap dispenser, large drying room ideal for wet waterproofs and boots.
We even have eco friendly Dishwashers available for guests, for £1.00 your pots and pans will be washed and dried within minutes - pre loaded detergent installed!

The park is nestled in over 130 acres of ancient woodland and occupies the site of a former country house. Some of the Lake Districts best attractions and natural landmarks are just a short drive away.
If spending time enjoying the peace and quiet of your wonderful surroundings isnt enough to keep you occupied youll always find plenty to do in the picturesque surrounding towns and villages. Whether that involves eating out, watching a film or taking in some live music, getting involved in more energetic outdoor activities or setting out on one of our suggested local walks, youll find plenty of choice and our staff are always on hand to help with ideas and directions.
