Lyng is a picturesque village steeped in history and legends lying in the Wensum valley. The village retains its old natural charm and is unspoilt by modern life, pub, garage, public telephone, riding stables and a nature reserve are all within a 5 minute walk.

Places to visit include Bygone Villages, Steam Railways, and magnificent stately homes, Pensthorpe Waterfowl Park, Norfolk Wildlife Centre, Garden and Craft Centres. Sporting activities are well catered for from Golf Barnham Broom and Wensum Valley Golf clubs to name just two, are in easy distance of Lyng. Directions For SatNav - NR9 5RF Travelling along the A47 from Dereham direction of Norwich, there is a slip road signed posted NORTH TUDDENHAM. On the left immediately after a lay by (B1110), leave the A47 by this slip road, at the T junction turn right follow this road into Lyng (SatNav can send you the wrong way). You will come to a staggered cross roads, turn right, in a few meters you will see a shop on your left, turn first left past the shop. Drive slowly as you are looking for a turning on the left (behind an old house that stands sideways to the road), Drive up the drive into Utopia Paradise.
