Walk amidst the footprints on dinosaurs at Staffin Beach - An Corran
Set beneath the romance of the Trotternish Ridge with views over the Hebridean Minch, Staffin Campsite offers a warm welcome to that Highland getaway, holiday retreat, for both young and old.
Visiting The Old Man of Storr or The Quiraing, then we are between both at Kilt Rock.
Staffin is situated 16 miles north of Portree.
Staffin falls amongst some of the most rugged, yet breath-taking and beautiful scenery on the island. The Trotternish Ridge sets a back-drop to the campsite while the Hebridean Minch cuts through the beauty of the peaceful highland retreat close to Staffin Bay.
The site has modern toilet facilities with free hot free hot showers and hair drying facilities. You will find a campers kitchen, laundry and an onsite food takeaway outlet 7 days a week onsite. There is a drying area for tent guests
The village of Staffin remains an unspoilt haven for all our visitors. Facilities include two general stores and a post-office.
Nearby Attractions
The area is close to a crofthouse museum, Columba 1400 Internet cafe and restaurant as well as the local Jurassic Museum and famous dinosaur footprints at Staffin beach.
Sea angling or traditional loch trout fishing is available at Storr Lochs.
The Flora and Fauna in this garden of Skye is a magnet for all the young walker and the not so young!!
The Trotternish Ridge gives the opportunity for both novice and experienced climbers to enjoy the magnificent views over Staffin Bay and Wester Ross. The site is perfectly located between The Storr and The Quiraing
