Seddons Caravan Park is a small family run park in a beautiful woodland setting, where you may see a wide range of wildlife. Red Squirrels, roe deer, badgers and foxes all make their homes in the area and can often be seen in the surrounding woodland and even on the caravan park.
This is a quiet park without a club house. A real must for those wanting a get away from it all holiday. However; the Widdrington Inn, which serves good value meals, at Widdrington Village, is only 1 ½ miles away. The Drift Cafe at Druridge Bay is a dog friendly venue. Dogs are allowed inside the cafe and outside in the small garden area. Don`t forget to visit the wonderful beaches which are only a 6 minute drive away.
We have a toilet and shower block, laundry, washing up facilities and a separate disabled wet room.
Our children`s play area and den building area are very popular with our younger customers.
Dogs, and responsible owners, are welcome. There are extensive dog exercise areas on site, incluing our lovely woodland walk trail, which is set in 50 acres of mature woodland and newly planted areas.
All caravan and motorhome pitches have electric hook ups.
Nearby Attractions
Druridge Bay, an 8 mile stretch of unspoilt beach and a site of special scientific interest, is only 3 miles away. The Druridge Bay Country Park with its lake and water sports facilities, walks, cycle paths, beach, information centre and cafe is a five minute drive away.
Northumberland Country Zoo is only a 10 minutes drive away, where you can see meerkats, donkeys, heavy horses, the wonderful Snow leopards and a whole lot more.
Only 3 miles from the A1, Seddon`s Caravan Park is the perfect centre for exploring Northumberland. The Northumbrian Coastal Route can be joined at Widdrington Village. Or why not visit one of the many splendid Northumbrian castles all within easy travelling distance. Alnwick castle, where scenes from Harry Potter films were shot, Alnwick Garden and Lilidory are a 15 minutes drive away.
From the A1 take the C115 road (about 8 miles north of the Morpeth turn off)towards the sea. Signposted Widdrington, chevington Moor, Acklington, Amble We are 3 miles along this road - just keep going straight ahead.
From the A1068 look for Widdrington Village heading towards Amble. At the roundabout turn left, signposted Eshott. Go past the lake and some houses on the right. Go on for a further 1/4 mile. We are set in woodland. In summer, look for a Northumberland flag and lots of colourful bunting.
