Whitemead Caravan Park in Wool, near Wareham is a stunning family run park found in 5 1/2 acres of beautiful countryside, on the edge of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
The park offers 102 pitches in total including both hardstanding, grass and non-electric pitches. 93 of these pitches have electric hook ups.
Additional facilities available for guests to use include heated toilet and shower blocks, a launderette and washing up area.
An on-site games room means the whole family can be entertained by playing pool, darts and table football, while especially for little ones there is a children`s play area.
Wi-Fi is available (ask at reception for details).
There is an on site shop stocking camping essentials and groceries.
You`ll find the idyllic village of Wool just short walk from the site, offering excellent pubs and delicious local food.
The campsite is surrounded by acres of mature woodland, offering plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area, a public footpath leads to the stunning river Frome.
Dogs are welcome, we do ask for dogs to be kept on leads at all times and for owners to clean up after their pets.
The park is 4.5 miles from the nearest beach at Lulworth and is ideally placed for many attractions in this part of Dorset.
We have excellent transport links on our doorstep too with connections to Dorchester, Weymouth, Swanage and Poole just to mention a few. The train also goes direct into London Waterloo.
Nearby Attractions
We are ideally situated for our guests to explore many sites along the world renowned Jurassic Coastline, including Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove which are only five miles from our site.
Other well known places of interest include Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum, which are both just a short drive away.
