Bounty Lakes, known locally as Etang de Cheres is not a campsite in the true sense, but two very relaxing and peaceful fishing lakes where camping, caravans, campervans and motorhomes are very welcome.
Camping with tents next to the lakes is possible and we have 6 power points for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes available in a parking area adjacent to the lakes. We have an onsite restaurant with lakeside terraces and a fully licensed bar.
The venue was formerly a Relais Routier, on Route Nationale N138. We are an ideal stopover point for those traveling further South, being just 10 minutes from junction 25 of the A28 and just 200 metres off the RD338 (formerly the Route Nationale N138 linking Rouen to Tours). Bounty Lakes lies south of Le Mans, just 4kms from the closest point of the world-famous Le Mans race circuit.
CAMPING
Excellent camping for both tents, caravans, and motorhomes with power hook-ups (not for tents). Our parking is secure and substantial and we have NO restrictions on the size of Motorhomes or caravans.
We have no problem with dogs but do ask when walking around the venue if they are on a lead and you clean up after them.

FISHING Our fishing is of the highest quality with specimen carp to over 50 lbs and catfish to well over 100 lbs. The venue offers 2 Carp and Catfish fishing lakes (Carp to over 50lbs and Catfish to well over 100 lbs. Day tickets are available but pre-booking is essential. We offer Carp & Catfish tackle hire (for longer stays only).

STOPOVERS Outside of public opening times, our venue is often locked for security, so it can appear that we are closed. For short stopovers please phone ahead to request/confirm a booking. Please call on +44 (0)1444 400462.
Please note that during the main Le Mans racing events we are not open for overnight stopovers. These events are: usually in mid May (MotoGP), mid June (Le Mans 24 Hour) and the first weekend in July (Le Mans Classic).
LE MANS EVENTS Our venue provides an inclusive camping and catering service for the main Le Mans race events, The MotoGP, the Le Mans 24 Hour, and the Le Mans Classic. These events are booked and managed by an agency and more information and bookings are available at www.retronutz.events . The events operate strictly on an inclusive package only, no self catering pitch-only option is available.
Nearby Attractions
The famous city of Le Mans is just 18 kilometers away. Travel to Le Mans city is possible by tram and the nearest stop (with free parking) is a simple 10e minute drive.
The world-famous Le Mans race circuit is nearby with the Mulsanne corner being only 4k away. The main entrance and Motor museum is only 12k away and we highly recommend a visit. Go Karting is also available at the circuit.
Shopping Excellent supermarkets are available at Ecommoy (5k south) and Mulsanne (5k north). Le Mans city is a fabulous shopping, visitor and dining centre.
Golf is available at Golf des 24 hrs at Mulsanne - 5 kms.

From the A28, we can be accessed from junction 25, Ecommoy. Head north from the junction to, and through Ecommoy and continue for 5 kilometers north on the D338. we are on the right-hand side just before the Teloche roundabout.
If approaching from the north from Le Mans (on the D338), we are 5 kilometers south of Mulsanne, on the left-hand side.
