Thornbrook Barn Touring Caravan Site and The Lodges Thornbrook are situated just on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The site is just over half a mile North from the entrance to the spectacular Waterfalls Trail and a little further to the centre of the picturesque Dales Village of Ingleton where there are plenty of pubs, a popular Italian restaurant and a microbar, cafes, takeaways as well as a Co-operative Store.
Country Harvest Store is just 300mtrs walk from the site for fresh foods, their own bakery and butchery department as well as a licensed coffee shop and quality shopping. Just a few minutes walk from the nearest pub.
Glamping: 3 Luxury Glamping Lodges sleeping 2 adults (no children/pets in the lodges) complete with their own hot-tub. Fully furnished and equipped - all bedding/towels included. The lodges are available at a discount without the use of hot tub.
TOURING SITE:
Discover the comfort and convenience of Thornbrook Barn Caravan Site featuring 42 spacious hard-standing pitches with 16amp electric hook-up, made up of 12 Standard Pitches and 30 Serviced Pitches equipped with their own freshwater tap and grey water waste facilities (no grass pitches available).
Complimentary site wide Wi-fi included.
The stone faced shower/toilet block with underfloor heating, pot wash area and brochure room is central to the site, no extra costs for showers Lots of hot water! A Chemical toilet disposal point is available in addition to the grey water waste and fresh water taps available around the site.
Motorhome greywater waste drop point.
While families are welcome on the Touring Site, please be aware that we do not have a designated play area or open spaces for games however the village play area is 10-15 minutes walk away! Ball games are not permitted on or around the site.
We`re delighted to welcome your furry friends to our site! Here`s a quick overview of our pet policy:
Dogs are more than welcome on the touring site.
- Please keep your dogs on a short lead while moving around the site.
- We`ve set up a spacious enclosed dog exercise area where your four-legged companions can enjoy some off-lead freedom.
- For the comfort and safety of everyone, a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch is allowed.
A `hail & ride` bus service runs from near the site entrance for trips to Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale

Owner Directions
From the South (Skipton): Travel on the A65 through Ingleton. At Country Harvest Store turn RIGHT. The site entrance is 50mtrs on your left.
From the South (via the M6 Junction 34)-we are 15 miles from this junction) via the A683/A687. After passing through Burton-in-Lonsdale approach the crossing with the A65. Cross over the A65. The site entrance is the first on your left.
Note the A687 is narrow in places. Many guests continue up the motorway to leave it at J36 and follow the directions from `The North (Kendal area)
From the North (Kendal area):Travel on the A65. Do NOT turn off the A65 until you reach Country Harvest Store. Turn LEFT off the A65 opposite Country Harvest and the site entrance is the first on your left.
