Big hillsdale farm is situated in between the two lovely villages of Butterton and Grindon, over looking the Manifold Valley. We are a small family run campsite alongside a working farm. The nearby towns are Ashbourne, Leek, and Buxton and we are 7 miles from Alton towers. A lovelt area with plenty to do including several picturesque walks, there is lots of animals on the farm to see so great for children.
Nearby Attractions
Alton Towers is just 7miles away. Thores Cave and the Manifold Valley are just a short stroll downbank leading onto longer walks if desired. Waterhouses & Parsley Haye offer bike hires which head onto either the Tissington Trail or Manifold Valley. There are many picturesque villages & towns to explore all around us with different attractions that would make a great day out for the family.

Owner Directions
Once you get onto the A523 leek Ashbourne road head for Onecote until you see a sign turning right for Grindon. Two miles on the road on the left you will see a phone box. Turn left and continue for approximately 1/4 mile, bare left down the dead end and we are the last farm at the end of the road.
