Pitches: 5
Situated near the M74 convenient for easy travel all over the region for Caravans and Motorhomes only. Quiet well kept site with lots of shops and food places within walking distance. Easy access on the edge of Gretna, yet close to all facilities. Close to the coast and river estuary.
The Braids has a mixture of hard stand and grass pitches and some fully serviced pitches. Whatever your needs we will be sure to be able to accommodate you. We also offer storage facilities for caravans and seasonal pitches. We welcome rallies and have an excellent rally hut which can be hired.
Tents are not allowed, and a few seasonal caravans are located around the site.
David, Paul and Tim offer a warm and friendly welcome at this small quiet campsite just a few miles inside Scotland. Even if youre not in Gretna for a wedding, the site offers an excellent location for touring Dumfries & Galloway or for a nights stop on route to the Highlands
The site is located on the edge of this famous town and in walking distance of essential shops, bars and eateries.
We have two toilet and shower blocks both with vegetable preparation and dishwashing areas and elsan waste disposal points. There is a full motor home service area by the bottom block
We also have a disabled toilet at the bottom block with full laundry facilities. There are rotary driers around the park as we do not allow washing lines for safety reasons. The top block closes for cleaning 11am to midday and the bottom block midday until 1pm.

From the North - leave A74(M) at the Gretna exit, follow Gretna signs until T-junction, turn left and follow International Camping signs to site.
From the South - M6, A74, A75, second left (B721), site 600 yards on left.
From the East - (A6071) at island turn left onto Annan Road (B721), site 3/4 of a mile on right.
From the West - (A75) turn right onto B721, turn left and site is 600 yards on left.
