Highburn House is a family run park which is set on a small farm. The park is scenically situated with its central running stream and panoramic views overlooking the Cheviot Hills.
We are only a short walk (500yds) from the main shopping area in the market town of Wooler.
There are also many footpaths leading from the park into the beautiful Northumberland National Park, where you will find interesting ponds and spectacular wildlife.
Highburn House offers spacious plots for touring caravans and campers with or without electric hook-ups. The areas are partly bordered by trees with panoramic views over the surrounding Northumbrian Countryside.
Toilets, showers, chemical disposal point, dish-washing, disabled facilities, pets allowed, children`s play area, gas exchange and a laundrette.
Facilities slightly further afield consist of a food shop, pub, restaurant and take away all just 400yds.
Our reception area has a small coffee shop selling teas, coffees, local Doddington dairy ice cream, drinks and nibbles.
An indoor Heated Pool is just half a mile away. Tennis, fishing, golf, horse riding are within a couple of miles from us.
On-site facilities include 40 statics of which none are for hire but we do have 1 holiday cottage for Hire
The park is perfect for families with all of the facilities necessary to make your stay a memorable one.

We welcome dogs but they must be kept on a lead, bearing in mind our cattle, sheep and lambs in the neighbouring fields!

Highburn House Country Holiday Park is set in the Cheviot Hills on the edge of the Northumberland National Park.
We are the perfect base to explore the sights of Northumbria and the Scottish Borders.
The area boasts a varied landscape including the magnificent Northumbrian Heritage Coastline featuring traditional fishing villages and unspoilt golden beaches.
Famous landmarks include Holy Island, the Farne Islands bird and seal sanctuaries, Bamburgh Castle and not forgetting the home of ‘Harry Potter` in Alnwick Castle.
We are only a short walk (1/4 mile) from the main shopping area in the market town of Wooler which has everything from local foods to a monthly farmers market. You will also find many local pubs offering excellent local fayre.
