Description
Pitches: No set pitches
Small campsite on working farm set in the heart of Dartmoor, making it an ideal base for walking, climbing and canoeing etc
Grass pitches for tents and small campervans. There are no electric hookups available
Basic shower and toilet facilities which are shared with the camping barns.
There is a stream and small lake in the camping field so children must be accompanied/supervised by an adult at all times.
Extremely dog-friendly!
Small campfires are allowed at our discretion on existing firepits only. Campfires to be extinguished by 10.30pm.
No admissions after 9.30pm
Booking in advance is essential.
The camping barns, sometimes known as "stone tents" are owned and operated by ourselves. Everyone can stay in a barn, groups of friends, extended or large families or as part of a group (we are particularly popular with youth clubs, cycling and walking groups, as well as Duke of Edinburgh Award groups and cadets). Each has seating and raised wooden sleeping areas; toilets and showers are located in between the two camping barns.
The bunkhouse offers comfortable budget accommodation, dormitory style with 6 bunk beds in each of two rooms. A kitchen, large seating area toilets and showers are also within the bunkhouse.
Nearby Attractions
Runnage Farm Camping Barns, Bunkhouse and Camping, is ideally located right in the middle of Dartmoor National Park near to the village of Postbridge.
This is an excellent centre for all kinds of activities for groups and individuals seeking to get the very best from Dartmoor.
Walking, cycling, climbing and kayaking are all popular things to do all over Dartmoor and Runnage Farm is indeed right at the heart of it.
