Description
Pitches: 15
We are a working arable farm , our only livestock are two black labs and a few bees. If you are lucky there may be a chance to try their honey
We are at a point where three counties meet Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
An exclusive campsite with a maximum capacity of five campervans or caravans and 8 pitches for tents
The field is three quarters of an acre with two flushing toilets and sinks.
Fresh drinking water tap, recycling bins and for those of your with caravans an area for chemical waste disposal.
There is an excellent pub a miles walk away in the village of Chrishall. Stays are from £20 a night
The site is in a corner of a meadow on top of one of the highest points in Essex, if you cycle you will discover this the hard way!
Our views are amazing, on a clear day you can see Ely cathedral.
The site is very calm and tranquil but families and groups are welcome.
We are happy to do Private celebrations and block bookings for functions
Nearby Attractions
We are on one of the highest points in Essex so have amazing views
We are a very calm and peaceful site , however saying that Duxford IWM can be seen from our site ,on display and practice days we have historical planes flying over head
Audley End House and Wimpole Hall are close by both good to visit
Cambridge is 20 minutes drive away and great for a day out
Many footpaths and cycle routes around us and through the surrounding picturesque villages of Essex and Herts
There is a RSPB site is two villages away in Fowlmere
We have several very good pubs close by in walking distance is The Red Cow , cycling distance is The Pheasant in Great Chisel
