Friendly, privately owned, family run site. Benefiting from an open, level and well drained field, with fine views of Wigtown Bay and surrounding hills.
Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature`s beauty at Drumroamin Farm Camping and Caravan Site. Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, our campsite offers the perfect retreat for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts seeking relaxation and adventure.
Choose from a variety of spacious camping pitches, whether you prefer a secluded spot nestled a sunny area for your tent, caravan or campervan.
The site has a modern, heated, spacious and well equipped shower/toilet block which includes a separate family/disabled shower room.
Unlike many sites our showers and hot water for dish washing is FREE.
The dish washing area is equipped with 2 washing machines, a dryer (on coin meters) and a large freezer, so make sure your ice-packs are name labelled.
There is a large outdoor play area adjacent to the main site and also an indoor playroom and sitting area with TV, DVD, books etc.
A secure lock up storage area for bikes and boats (subject to availability). We now have EV charging points on site.
The site is situated in an area of Scotland that is renowned for having some of the darkest skies in Europe, making it ideal for star gazing.
The site also benefits from excellent mobile phone connectivity, so you will be able to stay in touch and browse the internet from the comfort of your pitch.
Woodland dog walk one mile from the site.

Owner Directions
We are situated just 18 minutes drive from the A75 Newton Stewart roundabout. Take the A714 to Wigtown. After 5.1 miles turn right onto B7005. After 1.7 miles keep straight on to rejoin the A714 at Bladnoch, heading towards Braehead and then Kirkinner (A746). Shortly after leaving Kirkinner take a left towards Garlieston on B7004. Take the second turning on your left for Drumroamin Farm Camping & Caravan Site, which is situated approximately one mile down a single track road with passing places. Please call at reception upon arrival.
