Mill Hill Farm can be found in a picturesque, rural setting in the heart of the beautiful Suffolk countryside, close to the coast.
You will find peace and quiet here along with panoramic views and stunning sunsets. We are only just over two hours drive from North London and the perfect place for a relaxing break of any length.
There are grass and hard standing pitches which are available for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. There are pitches with or without electric hook up and fresh water taps close by. A motor home service point is also available.
The site has 3 immaculate toilet/shower blocks, two of which have a disabled accessible toilet/shower room. Dish-washing sinks, ice-block freezing facilities and a token operated washing machine and tumble drier are available.
We have good disabled access to our wetrooms and a specially built accessible fishing platform. Contact us directly to book a pitch near to the facilities, subject to availability.
Our friendly, helpful staff are only too happy to answer your queries and supply you with any local information you may need.
For the anglers there are two fishing lakes stocked with Carp, Bream and Roach etc. Tickets can be purchased at reception for day fishing. There are a limited number of pegs suitable for over night fishing which can be booked at reception.
For our 4 legged campers we have 2 designated dog walk areas with meandering pathways and plenty of exciting things to sniff at. Public and permissive footpaths can be accessed on foot from the site, leading on to a network of quiet lanes and walks.
We are directly opposite, and a short walk from, Suffolk Wildlife Trust Darsham Marshes nature reserve and we are actively involved in projects to enhance the environment for wildlife. We are particularly pleased that Turtle Dove, which are an endangered species regularly return during the summer to nest.
There are many miles of walks and cycle rides in the area with a good choice of traditional local pubs to refresh yourself en route where you`re guaranteed to be met with a friendly welcome and a tempting menu. You can also get takeaway food on site from our airstream catering wagon. This offers takeaway breakfasts and early evening food at the weekends.
For those guests who enjoy their homely comforts, we now have three camping pods with en-suite facilities and lake side views. These have become very popular with anglers and nature lovers who are looking for a tranquil holiday.
We also have an electric car charging point situated near the camping pods.
Please note that we do have a quiet between 9pm and 9am policy.
Nearby Attractions
We are ideally situated close to the RSPB`s flagship reserve at Minsmere and only a short drive from the ever popular coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Southwold is well known for its iconic lighthouse and Adnams Brewery and Aldeburgh is famous for its fish and chip shops.
The remains of the 13th century town of Dunwich is only 3 miles away and in less than 30 minutes you can be transported back in time at Framlingham Castle or Orford Castle.
Head out towards Woodbridge and visit the site of `The Dig`, a 1300 year old Anglo Saxon Royal Ship Burial at Sutton Hoo.

From the A12 between Darsham Station and Yoxford follow the brown sign for Mill Hill Farm Caravan and Camping Park also signposted to Westleton and Dunwich. The campsite can be found 1.5 miles along this road (past Emmerdale Farm Shop) on the left opposite our white A-Board sign.
