Stonepark Caravan and Camping is ideally located in the pretty village of Ballinderry situated close to Lough Derg in North Tipperary Ireland.
The site was established in 1979 by Marty OMeara and is run today by his son Sean.
The village of Ballinderry is an ideal base to explore the beautiful River Shannon Region and is very popular with all fishing and water enthusiasts
The site caters for Motorhomes, Campervans, Tents and Caravans.
Camping Pitches: ample green camping area for 10 camping pitches
Campervan/Caravan pitches: All our plots are on open hard standing and we only take 10 units at a time
We pride ourselves on offering high standards of quality, cleanliness and hygiene.

There is also a 2 Bedroom(with en-suites)Self Catering Lodge on site for rent (minimum stay 2 nights) Restored in a modern yet traditional Irish fashion, this compact and cosy ground floor self-catering lodge offers comfortable accommodation for couples, a family or a group planning a fishing break.
Nearby Attractions
Pub and music venue and restaurant is less than 5 minutes walk from the site.
The nearby village of Terryglass within 2 miles has two very good Pubs/Restaurants .
The area is also ideal for the Golf lover with Portumna Golf Club and Nenagh Golf club within a 20 minute drive of the park.
Portumna Forest Park is nearby and designated scenic walks.
There is also lots of fun for all the family with Pallas Karting Track only 30 minutes away.
The fishing is very good in the region with a lake only 10 minutes away where one can book a days fishing .
As the village of Ballinderry is located in a fairly central part of Ireland one can make a day trip to the lovely city of Galway only 60 miles away or visit the Cliffs of Moher,Bunratty Castle or The Rock of Cashel all within 1.5 hours drive.

Coming from Dublin take the M7 and take the 3rd exit for Nenagh on to the N52 to Borrisokane at the bottom of the town in Borrisokane take a left for Ballinderry which is 5 miles away.When you reach the crossroads in Ballinderry take a left and the site is on the left only 100 yards from the crossroads.
Coming from Galway city exit at Loughrea and head for Portumna.Cross the River Shannon in Portumna and head for Borrisokane when you reach the top of the hill in Carrigahorig take a right and pass the village of Terryglass and reaching the village of Ballinderry the park is located on the left before the Coffeys Tavern .
