Camping at Siblyback Lake: Enjoy an outdoor camping adventure like no other. Siblyback provides a unique camping experience. Enjoy the beautiful Cornish countryside and pitch up next to our lake. Our campsite offers a great nights stay under canvas, outdoor adventuring, star gazing and exploring. On your visit you can enjoy the peaceful setting of our lake and take part in a range of outdoor pursuits with our onsite Outdoor + Active centre. Siblyback Lake has fantastic modern camping facilities with a choice of electric and non-electric pitches. Onsite there are separate shower blocks and toilets, a baby changing room, washing machine and chemical disposal point.
Camping with the Family. The campsite is ideal for families and anyone wanting to explore the great outdoors. The large and open grounds ensure that there is plenty of space to set up picnics and allow children to run and play freely. A childrens playground, nature trails and cycle paths are all located onsite. Our path circles the lake and has been specially designed for ease of access for all to enjoy. Our newly refurbished cafe is a short walk from the campsite and provides light lunches and refreshments.
What can you do at Siblyback? Onsite is our activity centre offering tuition and hire for windsurfing, sailing, rowing, canoeing, high ropes, stand up paddle boarding and more. Try something new, Siblyback Lake is home to the largest clockwise wakeboarding park in the South West. Participate in a range of activities and explore the lake by kayak, bike or foot. You can launch your own craft, try your hand at fly-fishing, use our hides to spot rare birds or just relax and enjoy the superb view.
Where can you go? Take a day trip out of the campsite and visit Bodmin Moor, part of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), dominated by dramatic granite tors. Stock up on food and drink, within easy reach of Siblyback Lake are the local towns of Liskeard and Bodmin. Under one hours drive is Fowey - famous for its mussels and Padstow for its Rick Stein fish and chips! The popular Cornish seaside resort of Newquay is also only a 45 minute journey and the small coastal town of Looe is only a short 25 minute trip from the campsite.
