Summerfield Campsite is a family oriented site on the B645 at the Western end of the small village of Tilbrook close to the attractive village of Kimbolton
We are now open and operating pretty much as normal whilst being alert to the Covid 19 'irritations'
The site is on level ground with good access and screened from the village The site has views of rising open farmland to the south and is close to public footpaths and bridleways We do not farm the immediately adjacent farmland and so visitors must keep to the public footpaths
Please do visit our website for further details. You can also ring or email with any queries (07771 821722 or 07771 821723).
The facilities are of a high standard with the provision of 4 ladies showers and 3 gents showers Both are equipped with 3 toilets We also have a disabled 'friendly' room equipped with shower and a small bath designed for babies and toddlers that are not accustomed to showers (please request the key)
Our visitors to date have all complimented us on the level of facilities After entering the National 'LOO of the YEAR' competition we were awarded a GOLD Grade Certificate for 2019.
For those requiring that extra level of luxury, we can offer three large completely self contained self catering apartments with en-suite facilities and separate kitchens (Consistently rated 9.8 on Booking.com. £80 per night - minimum 2 night stay).
Pitch Prices for the 2022 season are currently as last year at £25 per pitch without EHU per night throughout the season and an electric pitch costs £30 per night This allows for 2 adults with up to 3 children under 16. Additional adults are charged at £5 per head/night and additional children are £2 per head per night Gazebos up to 5m x 5m are £5/night. Larger gazebos at £20 per night.
We do allow campfires on the site and these cost £18 to include 3 nets of logs and a starter pack of kindling, firelighters and lighter The firebase is supplied FOC You may not bring your own firewood onto the site and it needs to be appreciated that the site is next to arable farm land that is not under our control and for safety reasons we may have to restrict the use of campfires if we think that the fire risk to ripening crops is high
We provide a free basic WiFi internet connection for email and light web browsing. Coverage may not be over all of the site.
