Located in the Perigord, in the heart of the national forest of Lanmary, in the Dordogne in the commune of Antonne-et-Trigonant, this Huttopia destination is an exceptional opportunity to stay in a unique, protected forest environment: a national forest.
Situated just 10 kilometres from Perigueux, you will have the privilege of sleeping in the midst of the forest itself, in an area where nobody has ever stayed before. You can choose to camp on one of our vast pitches that are dotted throughout the forest or stay in one of our natural lodges: a wood cabin, a cahutte, a Trapper tent or a Canadian tent… a different kind of approach and one that is even more integrated with nature!
However you are camping (caravan, camper van, or tent), you can set up camp on one of our "nature" pitches. These pitches are equally spacious (500m²) and have a flat area designed for your vehicle (60m²). They are located at the entrance of the campsite, not far from the Central Lodge. New for 2014: a bathroom area with family cubicles and disabled access, and a bivouac area.
A motorhome service point is located at the entrance of the site near these pitches.
You can enjoy a barbecue and get together with friends or neighbours at one of the 3 bivouac areas: there are shared barbecues here (safe zone) and large picnic tables for you to enjoy sociable meals together...
There is also a washing-up area to make things more practical!
4 bathrooms, for even greater comfort!
A brand new shower block has just been built near the "nature" pitches, with spacious cubicles that are practical for all the family, and disabled access. You will love the warm atmosphere of our brand new, light and comfortable facilities, which are built mainly of wood.
Three "modular" shower blocks are located across different areas of the forest camp so that you can easily reach one from your pitch.
Nearby Attractions
An ideal location for getting together and enjoying a range of different activities: walks, mountain biking, canoeing, visiting castles, caves, and also sampling the famous culinary delights of the Perigord…
The commune of Antonne-et-Trigonant is bordered on the east and south by the river Isle, which is the main tributary of the Dordogne, and to the north by the national forest of Lanmary. The GR 36 and GR 646 footpaths both pass through Antonne, and Saint James' Way even passes by the Huttopia forest camp itself!
Classified as a historical monument, the Castle of the Bories can be visited in July and August: explore the castle's terraces, gothic cuisine, guard room, and vaulted caves…
