Little Rodmore Camping is a seasonal campsite open for the month of August. Set on our family farm in 9 acres of traditional hay meadow, Little Rodmore Camping offers a quiet and relaxed camping experience away from the stresses of modern day life. A member of the higher level stewardship scheme, the farm is a haven for many wildlife including deer, rabbits, foxes, an array of birds and insects and a home to the very rare Brown Hairstreak Butterfly.

With a back to basics approach, take advantage of all the peace and quiet that rural Dorset has to offer, and with no light pollution spend your nights huddled around the campfire under a blanket of stars. Enjoy an almost wild camping experience with the added benifit of a few simple facilities including compost toilets, a portashower, warm water handwashing station, coldwater washing up stations, communal fridge/freezer and phone charging.

Where to eat:

During times of high demand Little Rodmore Camping are able to offer hot takaway light bites for breakfast/dinner and Dorset cream teas.

However if you fancy escaping the campsite for the day/evening the farm is surrounded by many pubs, restaurants and even a pizzeria within a few miles of the site. Serving local food and drink, The Green Man pub is just a mile walk from site.

Local Amenities:

All within a mile of the campsite you will find Local farms in the village selling produce such as eggs, milk and bread from honestly boxes and pop up shops but when closed there is a village garage selling basic provisions.

Slightly further afield you will find Hazelbury Bryan and Bishops Caundle's Village stores for grocerys.
