Shilla Mill Campsite is an exclusive site only 400 yards flat walk from the beach. This year we have spread out our pitches to offer an abundance of space with your own area's defined by boundary fences.
We have ten luxury pitches, each with a family Picnic Bench, BBQ and Fire Pit. Furthermore all the Logs and Charcoal is available onsite. The Shilla Mill team will also clean and empty your BBQ and Fire Pit during the morning so everything's ready to use again after your busy day on the beach !
You have an option to have Electricity if you would like, everything else we hope to have taken care of for you, Hot Showers, Flush Toilets, Pans and Cutlery Wash Area.
Shilla Mill itself, the once tranquil spot which inspired Sir John Betjeman himself to write his poems from the grounds you will be sleeping in, and pirate smugglers before him. The floors of the Mill are constructed from Shipwrecked timbers and have statue figurines positioned inside. Shilla Mill was created in 1591 and is leading the way for the first property to have been built in Polzeath.
We also sit at the edge of The Point Golf Course, quick hop over the bridge from the Campsite, and you're a golfer !
For this year, we have opened our onsite Shop offering sundries and Camping Supplies for convenience.

Nearby Attractions
The Point Golf Course, Restaurant and outside Bear Bar is a two minute walk directly off the Campsite. There is also a Gymnasium and indoor swimming pool.
Valley Caravan Park next door has a Bar and Takeaway facilities.
Polzeath Beach is a short flat walk, merely 400 meters away.
All the other Venues on offer within Polzeath itself.
Further afield you have many Theme parks such as Butlins and Crealy, or places of interest such as The Eden Project.
