Nestled in the north of Lot-et-Garonne, on the edge of the Perigord Pourpre area, Huttopia Pays des Bastides Campsite is perfect for anyone who loves old architecture and the great outdoors. On-site, there`s a large heated pool, a pretty fishing lake with a fine sand beach and lots of leisure equipment to enjoy.
Stay in a 10-hectare campsite on the border between the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne departments, just 40 minutes from Bergerac and ideally located for exploring all that the region has to offer and enjoying the peace and quiet of the site.
Come and recharge your batteries with a stay on one of the large pitches or in our ‘ready-to-camp` accommodation.
Pitches
At Huttopia Pays des Bastides Campsite, all the pitches are supplied with electricity and located in a vast green space near the toilet block. Check out our different camping areas, each with a different feel: grassy plain, under the trees, near the lake… The choice is yours!
Facilities
At Huttopia Pays des Bastides Campsite, there are two heated toilet blocks with toilets, showers and sinks. They are suitable for families, with each having a baby area, and accessible for disabled people.
Washing machines and dryers are also available to use (tokens sold at reception).
Swimming
At Huttopia Pays des Bastides Campsite, there are two outdoor pools to enjoy: a large heated pool for all the family and a paddling pool for the younger kids. Lounge under a parasol on one of the deck chairs on the beautiful wooden deck and enjoy the view of the countryside and the bell tower of Saint-Etienne-de-Villereal church.
Fishing Lake and Sandy Beach
Bordered by a real white sand beach, the lake is an important spot within the campsite. There`s no better place to meet on summer evenings to enjoy a drink while watching a spectacular sunset, or even gather round a friendly campfire on certain nights. In the daytime, it`s somewhere to play beach volleyball, build a sandcastle or just relax with a book by the water. The lake is not suitable for swimming.
If catch and release fishing is a favourite pastime of yours or you fancy giving it a go, you can do that here too; just choose a spot to set up on the bank or the beach.
The Lodge
In an old farm building in a style typical of the Perigord region, near reception and the campsite terrace, the Central Lodge is a sociable space to have a coffee, read a book, play a board game or challenge each other to a table football match.
Food
Every morning, we bring the village bakery to you! Order your pastries and fresh bread the day before or opt for a full continental breakfast with fruit juice, bread with butter and spreads and hot drinks at the Central Lodge.
Share a nibbles platter or a delicious freshly made pizza in the Central Lodge or out on the beautiful deck near the playground, or take it away to eat in your accommodation, at your pitch, or on the beach at the edge of the lake.
The Bar
Whether you fancy ice creams, crepes, cold drinks in the afternoon or a glass of wine or beer on the deck in the evening, the bar is the place to go to enjoy some quality time around delicious food and drink!

It`s the ideal base for exploring the region`s many bastides, medieval castles and vineyards, for a holiday off the beaten track.
Anyone who loves historic architecture will be fascinated by the rich heritage of the bastides of southern Perigord. Built around a central square ideal for trade and commerce and surrounded by narrow streets named ‘carrerots`, the bastides are now lively places that are wonderful for strolling around admiring the ingenious medieval architecture.
This is a region full of local producers and is known for its markets, where you can find organic vegetables, fresh fruit, dairy products, local meat and more. Villereal`s market, just 15 minutes away by bike, is held every Saturday morning, and every Monday evening and Wednesday morning in the summer.
You`ll also find an Intermarche supermarket in the village for bigger shops. Discover the many other traditional markets in the area: Monflanquin, Gavaudun, Castillonnes, Cancon, etc.
From Villereal, head towards Monflanquin. Around 4km from Villereal, turn left towards Saint-Etienne-de-Villereal, follow signs to Les Ormes, go past the Club Les Ormes and stop at Huttopia Pays des Bastides Campsite.
