Broadlands Farm Touring Caravan Site is situated one mile from Junction 39 of the M1
The caravan site is a family run business and has now been established for 17 years.
The site is fully open from the 1st of March until the 31st of December,
All the pitches are level, well drained hard standing, and supply 13amps of electric.
The facilities include a high-quality toilet/shower block, laundry facilities and all the other services you would expect from a good established site.

Pugneys Country Park (adjacent) This lake is great for water sports enthusiasts, with activities including windsurfing, dingy sailing, canoeing, pedaloes and fishing. Also lakeside walks, bird watching and picnicking.
Sandal Castle ( 1 mile ) This motte and bailey castle dates to the 12th century and over look the site of the Battle of Wakefield, fought in 1460 when Richard, Duke of York and father of the future king Richard III was killed. The nursery rhyme "Oh the Grand old Duke of York" dates back to these events at Sandal Castle
The National Mining Museum (5 Miles) Award winning museum that tells the history of coal mining, including a one hour tour of the original working 137m underground
The Hepworth Wakefield (3 Miles) Yorkshires inspiring new art gallery.
just 1 mile from junction 39 of the M1, in a small village called Durkar (2 miles from Wakefield Town centre) Leave the M1 at junction 39. Take the A636 sign posted Wakefield. Follow the dual carriageway to the first roundabout.(Red Kite Pub) Take the third exit signposted Durkar / Crigglestone. Take you second left signposted B3678 Croften. Go through village passing an opticians on your right hand side. When you reach the end of the village proceed for 0.1 of a mile. Take the next turning on your left into Broadlands Farm If you get to the Asda Supermarket you have past us
