Exit the M6 at Junction 35 and take the A601 for Carnforth. In 1 mile turn left at roundabout (35A) for Carnforth (Truckhaven on left, Pine Lake on right). In 1 mile turn right at traffic lights in centre of Carnforth, signposted Silverdale. In 1 mile turn sharp left into Sands Lane, signposted Silverdale. In 2.4 miles go over a level crossing, continue to 'T' Junction. Turn right following 'Holgates' signpost. In 1 mile bear left following 'Holgates' and 'Silverdale' signposts (by bus shelter / phone box). In 0.5 mile turn right into Cove Road following 'Holgates' signpost. In 0.9 mile turn left in to Hollins Farm

It is just a 5 minute walk across a field to reach our flagship Middlebarrow park, where you are welcome to use our leisure facilities, bar and restaurant. A 20 minute walk takes you to the nearest pub, or you can carry on for 10 more minutes to reach Silverdale where there are more pubs, village shops and a restaurant. Silverdale also has the RSPBs Leighton Moss, home to some of the UKs rarest birds, including the elusive Bittern.
