Easily found, 1/2 mile off the A606, four miles from Oakham and six from Melton Mowbray. CARAVANS AND LARGE MOTORHOMES MUST APPROACH FROM THE A606 AND NOT THROUGH THE VILLAGE. [Easy turn in from the A606 but not possible from the village for a caravan.] Take the SECOND turning to Whissendine from Oakham [or bypass] and the THIRD from Melton Mowbray [0.6m after the Rutland sign] OPPOSITE A BROWN CAMPING SIGN. Very discreet site entrance 1/2m along just after the yellow footpath sign. From the village [cars only] follow the signs to Oakham. Turn right by the last house, along Pickwell Lane. Site in 1/2 m.
