Situated on the A498, 5 miles north of Beddgelert, or coming from the A5 turn south at Capel Curig then pass through Pen-y-Gwyrd and proceed down the valley for 2 miles. Note that the turn off from the main road is a sharp right-hand turn and it may be easier to proceed a further 200m to the side of the lake and turn there, driving back up to the entrance. If you use a SatNav it will most likely send you to the wrong end of the lake - about a mile out.
