FROM M6. Leave the M6 at Junction 38. Take the A685 towards Brough & Scotch Corner. After 6.5 miles, at the big blue road sign, turn right towards Ravenstonedale. In 150 yards turn right at the sign for Greenside. Low Greenside is the first farm on the left.
FROM A66 at Brough. Take A685 to KIRKBY STEPHEN.
FROM KIRKBY STEPHEN follow the A685 south. After about 4.5 miles, at the bottom of a long hill, turn left towards Ravenstonedale. Ignore the next left & continue (past the Kings Head set back on your left) until you see a sign for Greenside. Turn left here. Low Greenside is the first farm on the left.

Stroll into pretty Ravenstonedale village where there are 2 dog friendly country pubs with riverside gardens,a childrens playground, a lovely informal golf course (clubs available FOC at the campsite),tennis court, art gallery, and an interesting church with monastic ruins. Nearby you can hire a bike, go pony trekking or try trout fishing - catch one and BBQ it later (the trout not the pony!)

Explore the characterful market towns of Kirkby Stephen, Sedbergh & Appleby as well as many pretty villages nearby.
Excellent access for days out in the Lake District, Eden Valley, and Yorkshire Dales - but none of the hustle and bustle!
