From London / South East Take the M3 South and leave at junction 8 (A303) after Basingstoke. Continue past Andover and Stonehenge on the A303 and leave after passing Yeovil and Ilminster onto the A358, signposted to Chard. Continue through Chard and Axminster following signs to Lyme Regis. Turn left up the A35 and then second right on the B 3165. In the village of Uplyme, turn right by the telephone box opposite the Talbot Arms into Gore Lane. We are 200m on the right.
By train the closest station is Axminister which offers a regular direct train service from London Waterloo. The site is approx. 5 miles away with buses run directly from the station to the village.
Nearby Attractions
As well as being walking distance to the Historic Seaside town of Lyme Regis which offers a large range of activities all the year round. The famous West Bay is close by where Broadchurch was filmed, as well as the stunning seaside towns of Beer and Seaton.
Lyme Regis is busy all the year round with some fantastic events including Jazz week, Carnival week, Lifeboat week and Guitars on the beach.
The area is very well known for walking, with coastal footpaths and The Golden Cap close by. Footpaths lead directly from the site, one which offers a lovely riverside walk down to Lyme Regis.
The famous River Cottage HQ is a few minutes drive away, offers great food including their recommended breakfast.
Plenty for children nearby with beaches, theme parks, zoos and The Dinosaurland Fossil Museum in Lyme Regis.
