East Sussex Country Council and Sustrans transformed the disused line into a 14 mile path that is just perfect for riding your bike or strolling along in total safety, with no fear of cars.
Keep the kids entertained for hours at Knockhatch Adventure Park and Farm. Enjoy a family day out at Drusillas, the best small zoo in the country!
We are also only a few miles from Eastbourne if you fancy a day on the beach. The South Downs are even nearer and the beautiful village of Alfriston is a perfect place to visit and enjoy a pub lunch. Shopping destinations, Brighton, Hastings, Battle and Tunbridge Wells are also within 20 miles.
