From the M6 take A500 and then A50 to Uttoxeter, take B5030 to Rocester and Alton Towers, opposite JCB turn right into the village of Rocester, follows the signs for Abbotsholme School and then Marston Montgomery. Manor Gronds campsite is on Barway on right handsome just before you reach the village. You will see our Caming and Caravanning Club sign and Manor Grounds entrance sign. If you reach the crown Inn you have passed the site, turn around and go back heading towards Rocester, the campsite is 300 yards on the left hand side.

With so much to do in the local area, here's a few suggestions to make the most of your time at Manor Grounds. The Tissington Trail starts in Ashbourne and is one of several traffic free and family friendly walk and cycle trails in the area. Carsington Water is also a short drive with walking and cycling routes, an adventure playground, bird watching and water based sports. The Dove and Manifold Valleys are also nearby and Alton Towers and the market town of Ashbourne are only a 15 minute drive, making this a wonderful location for enjoyment and also relaxation. From countryside walks ending with a traditional pub lunch to theme parks and stately homes, there's something for everyone.
