 We stayed here before using the Tunnel for France. Easily found, just off the M20 at the junction before the tunnel. Steep approach to camping area from pub car park.
We had booked and paid ahead on their website, so reported to the bar where were were given the gate code and told our pitch number. Easy hook up and plenty of space.
Acceptable loos and showers, but probably not enough at busy times.
We ate in the pub and the food was excellent. Very friendly service and a mix of local and camping clientele.

Nice site, steep ramp that may lead to grounding, towbar mounted rack on a 6. 9m van kissed the ground on the way up.
Very clean but basic facilities, big pitches, functional rather than beautiful, very rural yet very close to tunnel and motorway, lots of birdsong on a warm May evening.
Not cheap (£35. 00 for pitch) £110. 00 for a meal for three with two desserts and three mains yet somehow feels like reasonable value.
Feels a bit untidy but I have to recommend this site and the best that I have experienced anywhere near the tunnel.

Perfect location for Le Shuttle.
Friendly welcome, good facilities, easy to find.
Hot showers, clean facilities, large pitches.

The Drum Inn is a lovely place to stay overnight. We had a really nice meal in the pub and the staff there are welcoming and nice.
The only slight downside is the price, maybe an offer of a discount on the overnight stay if you are eating in the pub?
Otherwise nothing negative to say. It is very close to Eurotunnel so it allows a rest if you have driven a long distance the day before.

We often stay at The Drum Inn, we love the fact that the restaurant is on site, delicious food is served there.
The site is nice and quiet and clean. Staff are lovely also.
Cant wait till next time.

This site is extremely handy for an overnight stop prior to using Le Shuttle or ferries.
A pleasant pub with beer garden although the restaurant is a bit pricey for us.

Stopped here with my elderly Mother as a stop over on the way to the tunnel. Considering the price I think it was disappointing.
It’s clearly very popular due to its location and that’s great and the staff were friendly.
But the door to the shower block is so neglected my Mum couldn’t enter on her own. The shower doesn’t have any stool/chair & there was no mop for the floor. So it was wet & no way we could dry it and mud had been walked into the showers. The temp is scorching hot or hotter if someone else uses a tap. The water hose was filthy and in the muck on the ground.
It’s obviously a lucrative spot so it seems a shame some of that money hasn’t been spent on the facilities. But it you don’t care about that and want to spend £30 to plug in near the tunnel then it’s perfect.
