 Really quick response to book, beautiful views which were perfect to watch the sun rise.
Simple site which had everything I needed for an escape in nature.

A beautiful and quiet location, amazing views across the marshes to admire the sunrise, and shaded areas for when the sun got really hot later on.
Facilities are simple but clean and adequate for a few nights, and there was very little noise apart from the owls and woodpeckers.
I brought my bike - it's a short ride into Rye where you won't have to worry about parking - and not much further to Camber Sands along a dedicated cycle path which is very pleasant.
There are loads of little roads across the marshes that are lightly trafficked and excellent for a quiet ride with very little effort.
The Ferry Inn is well worth a visit for its huge outside space and excellent food and beer.
Booking was easy and communication straight forward and friendly.
Some pitches are on a gentle slope so vans might need chocks.

So pleased we found this lovely campsite. Low-key, informal and friendly. Fantastic views over Romney Marsh.
This is not a site for those wanting lots of lavish facilities, but for individuals, friends, families and couples who want simple, back to really good basics camping.

Excellent stop if doing the Cantii way.
Small, basic site with good view over the surrounding countryside.
Nice and tucked away, peaceful and the host is very friendly and accommodating.

The campsite was lovely! Very peaceful, clean and relaxed.
Kate was very helpful and responded very quickly to my booking enquiry.
Excellent views and lovely lanes for cycling.
The surrounding area was really nice too.

I am almost hesitant to leave a review, because it is such a hidden gem and I don‘t want it to be overrun….
But anyway: We find it perfect! It is very basic (toilet, cold water, no shower), but that‘s the way we like it. Also, it is very spacious and they allow a max of 6 camper / tents etc.
The view and the serenity are perfect. I really hope it will stay that way. Kate the owner is super friendly and helpful.
We come back, if possible.

Lovely rural location, with very accommodating hosts.
We would thoroughly recommend this campsite for anyone wanting a tranquil stay.
The views were spectacular and some good walks within easy reach.

Really lovely, peaceful campsite with beautiful countryside views.
It’s quiet and relaxed, perfect for getting away from it all.
Kate was very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better.
Would definitely come back!

Back again. I love this place, Perfect for a peaceful holiday of a day/weekend /week. Closest thing to wild camping with toilet and water. View from tent is great.
Close to coast. Kate is about to help if required, but doesn't intrude on your time here.
I believe the site to be child friendly but as I come on my own. I can say the site is inclosed and safe for children there fore I've given a 8 out of ten.

Beautiful location with stunning views and basic but very clean facilities.
Only 8 min drive from historic Rye.
It was our first stay but We will definitely be back next year.
