I am almost hesitant to leave a review, because it is such a hidden gem and I don‘t want it to be overrun….
But anyway: We find it perfect! It is very basic (toilet, cold water, no shower), but that‘s the way we like it. Also, it is very spacious and they allow a max of 6 camper / tents etc.
The view and the serenity are perfect. I really hope it will stay that way. Kate the owner is super friendly and helpful.
We come back, if possible.
Thanks for a great stay!

Really lovely, peaceful campsite with beautiful countryside views.
It’s quiet and relaxed, perfect for getting away from it all.
Kate was very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better.
Would definitely come back!

Back again. I love this place, Perfect for a peaceful holiday of a day/weekend /week. Closest thing to wild camping with toilet and water. View from tent is great.
Close to coast. Kate is about to help if required, but doesn't intrude on your time here.
I believe the site to be child friendly but as I come on my own. I can say the site is inclosed and safe for children there fore I've given a 8 out of ten.

Simple but lovely little site. Basic facilities, but clean and enough for a night or two.
Just off the Cantii Way, so perfect for cyclists. Great view once you've made it up the hill!

This is a great spot- facilities are simple - but spotlessly clean, and waking up to the view from this hill is stunning - even on a wet day!
Owner was friendly and offered to help dry our wet kit - would recommend

I loved this campsite. I was there on a peaceful late summer evening. There is a flat edge to the camping area that is perfectly level so I had a great spot, looking down over the slope and out over the Romney Levels.
When I was there it was very quiet, there was only one other person. The owner was friendly and had a few minutes to chat.
The little toilet and sink cabin was nicely looked after and clean. Although as others have observed, there is no shower, there was water and a toilet and that was enough.
I was walking the High Weald Landscape Trail with Rye as the finish, and the campsite was perfectly located for a comfortable couple of hours walking into Rye the next day.
