 We stayed here with a group of friends in various tents and camper vans.
What an absolutely fabulous campsite! We have stayed in many over the years, up and down the UK, but this really is one of the best.
IMMACULATELY clean toilets, showers and site in general, with lots of little touches and attention to detail: sanitary products, hooks for your towels/washbags, shelves by the mirrors, etc, that all mark this site as a standout.
All facilities are clearly marked and set out in perfect locations on the site. Both the hard and grass pitches are beautifully flat (which really matters in a van), and laid out in a well thought out format.
Kev and Marnie were accommodating of our needs as a group and made us feel really welcome.
The location is spot on with spectacular views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. The well stocked Co-op and village pub are just a 5 minute walk down the lane in the sleepy village of Byfield.
My husband and I will definitely be back and are considering booking next year as a group again too.

Just back from 3 nights at Crossing Farm Campsite, Byfield, Northants.
Only 7/8 pitches, electric - non-electric, not fully serviced.
Super location, lovely views across open fields, spotless facilities.
Owners Marnie & Kevin live on site, very helpful & friendly.
Byfield village is a 10 minute walk and has a shop with a post office, fuel station & a beautiful church.
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be going back ??

A lovely, immaculately kept site with very welcoming owners. Pitches were level & spacious and we were able to pitch with the front window overlooking the fields of sheep & lambs.
We even saw the farmer training his dog to herd some sheep into an enclosure.
It was so peaceful with lots of different birds to see & hear, including a red kite flying quite low overhead.
Facilities were spotlessly clean too, couldn't fault it!
We'll definitely be returning when we want a relaxing weekend in the caravan.

This is a lovely campsite. Very well kept. Kevin and Marnie are vey welcoming. Handy to have the village of Byfield close by.
Facilities are good and clean.
Would be helpful to develop a motorhome service point at some stage.
We would return and recommend.

A fabulous, peaceful small site in a great location for local amenities (pub & shop a 10 minute walk) and relaxing walks.
Toilets & shower block spotless.
Will definitely return!

A pleasant, quiet site within walking distance of local amenities within the lovely village of Byfield. A 20 minute drive takes you to Daventry with a Tesco and Aldi and a lovely country park with numerous walks.
Close to the site is Boddington reservoir - walk from the site around the reservoir and back was about 1 hour.
The site itself has all you need and the ablutions are clean and tidy. Didn't see much of the wardens as they are at work most of the time. Electricity is included in the £30/night rate which was useful as the weather wasn't at it's best during our stay.
There is a useful wash up area but hot water is limited to the small tank capacity. Beware for those of you wanting to spend a lengthy time on the loo as the lights are on a sensor and said sensor is outside the toilet cubicle and yes, you guessed who got left in the dark with unfinished business!
Next door there is a working farm and a chap was teaching sheep dogs to herd sheep - pleasant to watch - a real life old whistle test event!

The owner was friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The pitches, washing up areas, disposal areas, toilet and shower blocks were well maintained and organised and clean.
The view across the fields, to the hills beyond was a lovely sight.
There's a garage and convenience store 5 mins away, by car, in Byfield.
I would definitely use this site again and recommend it to others who are looking for a small, quiet, adult only site with just the basic amenities.
I loved it!

Lovely quiet campsite, lovely setting.
Great for star gazing as there is no light pollution.
Toilet and showers very clean, as was the wash up area.

Well we certainly cannot fault this little gem of a campsite! We have had a restful and peaceful short break here with Nancy Pudding, our dog.
Beautifully well maintained, flat pitches next door to a field of inquisitive sheep which were a joy to watch.
Facilities were spotlessly clean and well cared for by the owners who live on site and were absolutely lovely.
We appreciated the "adults only" policy which made for a tranquil stay.
Thankyou for having us! Happy to recommend to anyone!
