Our second visit to this lovely site.

Stayed for 5 nights whilst visiting family in the local area. Well maintained, quiet site.

Clean and tidy facilities.

Site is sloping but the hardstanding pitch was nice and level.

Beautiful countryside views.

Stayed here for one night on our way from the Midlands up to Scotland.

Lovely quiet site, all facilities were clean and well kept. Friendly owner. Reasonably priced at £20 for hard standing and electric.

Lots of seasonal vans and statics but only 5 pitches for motorhomes, caravans etc.

Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very quiet site on working farm, despite being next to A66.

Mainly statics and seasonal pitches, therefore no people midweek when I was there.

Good facilities including walking from site, and very friendly owner.

Excellent views.

Popular Choice in this Area

Fisherground Campsite - Eskdale

Nestling in the beautiful Eskdale Valley close to Scafell, England's highest mountain and Wastwater, this site is a children's paradise in the heart of the Lake District. The first thing that meets you on arrival is the pond, fed by a stream and usually full of children paddling and playing on tyre rafts. The playground has zip wires, climbing frames, tyre rope-swings and adventure courses.

Grass pitches (some with EHU) for tents, motorhomes, VW-sized campervans (no caravans). Refurbished toilets, showers and laundry. Peace is the watchword on the campsite - catering mainly for families and couples with silence after 10.30pm. Don't forget your marshmallows - campfires are allowed in selected areas. Nearby shop and pub. And there's an added extra: the site sits along the route of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway line, with it's own station. Choo Choo! Find out more here

Easy access from A66 for large outfit car and caravan.

Excellent stopover site for trip from England to Scotland or long stay.

£25 per night.

Will be back definitely.

Used as a stopover from Scotland.

Only a few touring pitches, large site with statics and seasonal units. Shower and wc ok, plenty of hot water.

We were pitched next to a seasonal caravan, shame they didn't abide by site rules to have dogs on leads. Both dogs let out of awning to roam. The small dog tried to get in our motorhome to our dog.

Made it unpleasant.

Beautiful view from the camping pod.

The site had everything we needed and it felt very quiet and private which is just what we wanted.

The site is easy to drive to and found it no problem.
