My fifth stay at Grange Farm but my first ever in a pod. The pods here are completely bare of furniture, with an opening window and door, both with blinds.
There's a hanging light bulb and a twin mains socket with two USB-A outputs, and a broom and dustpan and brush. The roof projects a couple of feet beyond the door so there's a bit of shelter.
You have to leave a £10 deposit for the key, meaning you can't set off before reception opens at 9 if you want your tenner back.
There are far more luxurious pods around these days (with fridges, 'proper' double beds etc) but this was ideal for me as I was on an e-bike weekender, didn't particularly want to lug my lightweight tent around and am mindful that the winds here can be absolute belters. I also needed power to charge the bike battery.
The pod was warm and dry and I slept very well. Staff remain helpful and cheerful and it's still a great site.
Worth mentioning the Red Lion at Freshwater where I stopped for lunch on day 1 - truly excellent food. Have the beef crumpet.

This is a great campsite. Really well organised. Lots of space.
Good facilities, especially for children. Even got its own beach.
The staff are really friendly and helpful and keep the place in great condition.

Friendly site with good facilities. We were allowed to chose our own pitch but given advice about avoiding the more exposed spots as it was very windy when we arrived.
Our grandchildren enjoyed the play area. Access to the beach was easy and the sea was safe for swimming.
We didn't use the food van but it is certainly an attraction for many campers.
The facilities were kept clean and we never had to queue even though the site was fairly busy. The shop is useful and well stocked.

A delightful site, well spaced out serviced pitches.
We were soon hooked onto the fresh bread and croissants in the morning.
The little shop on site does provide the basics which is super. The morning and evening snack van does good meals using locally sourced produce. The full English breakfast serves two and keeps you going nearly all day, a bonus when you are setting of for a day out.
Great walk down the chine to the sea side where you can see the cliffs being eroded away.
The site is exposed to the onshore winds so careful positioning of the caravan is required and good pegging down (we were unlucky with our timing) otherwise it would be glorious.
The pubs are pleasant, getting around is easy, the bus service is frequent along the coast (our friends used the buses a lot).
There is a lot to see and do along the coast.

What a wonderful week we had in our tourer at Grange Farm! The site has sea views and access to the sandy/pebble beach.
The children's park on site is a fun mixture with an added twist of visiting rabbits from the chine at the side.
There is an on site shop which is well stocked (no alcohol) where croissants etc can be ordered for breakfast the next day.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, he booked our ferry crossing for us at a discounted price.
The site has animals which are lovely to see as you walk around, these consist of alpacas, goats, chickens, a pig and visiting rabbits.
A food van is open in the mornings for breakfast and in the evenings for fish and chips etc. We did not eat here but it did seem popular.
The shower and toilet facilities were clean and adequate. A very short drive or 20 minute stroll takes you to Brighton village which has a well stocked shop, pub which serves food, small gift shop and museum and a couple of lovely walks.
Grange farm is well positioned for may days out or short visits and has some beautiful beaches with safe and clean swimming.
All in all we had a fabulous holiday, the sun was shining, the site was perfect and we will visit again.

Friendly and very helpful staff, we had to change a ferry crossing at very short notice, Josh got this sorted for us without any hassle or dramas, fantastic customer service.
The pitches are flat and fairly level, with sea views.
The toilet and shower blocks were very clean, cleaned twice a day. The shop was fairly well stocked.
Plenty of water points around the site. Never used the on site catering van, but the bacon always smelt good in the mornings!
Excellent walking along the coast path direct from the site.
Lovely site, would definitely return.
The owners couldn't do enough to help out from local knowledge to changing ferry crossing times.

We stayed in a pod which was unfurnished, with light and plug socket inside. Plenty of room for 2 of us.
Amazing location right on the clifftop, great views, sound of waves crashing.
Campsite wasn't noisy (saturday night).
Facilities were simple, clean and well maintained.
Great park for kids, selection of animals to see.
Great food van on site.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better I find a really well equipped shop on site as I'm checking out.
Will definitely try to come again.

Lovely sight - spacious, clean, plenty of facilities.
Owners are great & very helpful with any problems.
It was VERY hot while we were there but being so close to the beach meant we could always cool off in the sea.
Lovely shop too.

Fantastic site, the location is great with just a short walk to get into the beach, and most things are a short drive.
Staff are very helpful and has probably the best stocked shop on any site I’ve ever visited.
Get facilities and the best part of all is the playground. Keep the kids entertained all day.

We were fortunate enough to stay on this site during a heatwave (yes, really)! and so felt incredibly blessed to have been able to park our caravan on a grass pitch, with the convenience of electric hook-up and the bonus of wonderful sea views over the cliff. From the site it's a short - though fairly steep - walk to the beach, which is where we spent most of our late afternoons and early evenings.
It helps that the site has its own shop selling basic provisions, and a large mobile van serving bacon rolls in the mornings and burgers or pizza in the evenings - because chances were that we'd had a few drinks on the beach and couldn't be bothered to cook for ourselves.
For a bit more variety, the village of Brighstone about 1 mile away has a pub that offers both eat-in and take-away food and a village shop with a bakery - in which the cakes are to die for. It's probably a good job that I don't live closer, otherwise my waistline would probably be twice the size it is now!
I can't really comment on other attractions accessible on foot or by public transport, given that we drove ourselves over almost the whole island.
However, we spoke to several other people in motorhomes who were happy to spend all of their time just ambling between the site and the beach. And with other on-site attractions including llamas, alpacas, pigs and donkeys, as well as a very good children's play area, it's not hard to see why.
Toilets, showers and washing facilities are plentiful and I can forgive the floors being largely covered in beach sand - I think even if there had been a permanent cleaner, he or she would have been fighting a losing battle that week.
I should also mention that the prices seemed very reasonable and that the site will also arrange your ferry crossing, which proved to be much cheaper than booking direct.
My one slight niggle concerns the pitches. In many ways it's nice that you can just choose your own space on arrival. The trouble was that everyone else - quite understandably - wanted to pitch in the same area that we did and by the end of the week it felt like something of a free-for-all, with tents and small campervans in particular looking like they were almost on top of each other.
Almost certainly we visited on one of the busiest weeks of the year - aided by it being shortly after the lifting of restrictions after the pandemic - and these conditions aren't typical. However, we did feel that having individual pitches more clearly marked may have helped.

We've been to this site four times now and it never disappoints. Friendly, helpful on site team, amazing location, plenty to see and do - even when half of it's shut for the 'rona. It attracts a very broad cross section of campers and there's always a pleasant atmosphere on site.
The facilities are a bit agricultural, but it's a farm after all. There's a new food van doing mostly beige items, which seems to be semi-permanent. The excellent pizza van still visits on Wednesdays, but I didn't spot any of our other old favourites.
We arrived on Whitsun weekend and the site was very busy - I was glad we'd booked at the start of Feb. More of the upper field is now given over to the delightful farm animals, with what I think is new EHU provision extending further west than before, into the old rally area. It means more pitches are available away from the Military Road and nearer the clifftop.
We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely site with good facilities right on the coastal path - handy for Brighstone village with its pub, shop, newsagent and cafe and the number 12 bus to The Needles and Newport. Great beach with easy access.
Good pitches. The site is dog friendly but unfortunately not everyone with a dog picked up their dog's poo. There was no hot water in the toilet block in Field 1 but plenty in the wash up and the showers in the main block. A good play area for children.
A well stocked on site shop. Very friendly and helpful staff.
A bit on the expensive side, but we're used to French sites that are cheaper than UK sites.

Grange Farm did not disappoint. Friendly welcome.
Facilities good. Beach was lovely (steep climb home kept us fit). Farm animals regularly kept the younger ones occupied.
And do believe Dave when he says the pitches with the view also result in the pitches struggling with the wind !
We had no need to go over to the other coast. The less commercial side of IoW gave us everything we needed.
Thank you Grange Farm.
