Had a lovely peaceful stay here, and extended by a day as didn't feel ready to leave.

Hugely appreciative to have trees for shade during heat wave, and clean spacious showers

Perfectly placed for touring around Essex. With mini market, restaurant and excellent fish n chips nearby.

We had the most wonderful stay! The campsite had very clean toilets, showers and washing up area. It overlooks a field with sheep and is very peaceful.

We stayed for a festival at Hyland’s Park and the site organised a shuttle bus for us, which was run by a very helpful, friendly couple.

We wouldn’t hesitate staying there again if in the area.

Thanks for having us!

Loved it. The owners were lovely.

Facilities good.

Location perfect for us.

Pubs, fish n chip and other takeaways and a well stocked Co-Op supermarket nearby.

Easy access to Chelmsford.

Nothing bad to say and all for £20 a night👍

I stayed here for one night with my friend, on our way from Leeds to Sevenoaks to go to a festival. We needed the overnight stay so that we’d have enough energy for the festival. We’re both sprightly 60 year olds!

The site is lovely. Peaceful, clean and very well priced.

£20 per night for my small caravan, £1 for 5 mins shower and pay what you use in electricity, calculated by logging onto their website. This was a bit of a faff, but worked out very economical, coming in at £1. 50 for the electricity!

The only noise was from the farm vehicles, which wasn’t a problem, as it is a farm, after all, and a bit of aeroplane noise as it’s near Stansted airport.

If you’re staying longer, there’s a pub in walking distance, but we didn’t bother.

The weather was lovely so we cooked a steak and chilled in the sun with some cold beers!

I’ll definitely be back.

Thank you x

 Great little campsite.

The plots were nice and flat.

Option for electric hook-up if needed.

Nice little shower, toilet and washing-up block.

Will definitely book again next year!

Loved it, needed a nights escape, got what I asked for, great facilities with friendly staff on site.

Really enjoyed my stay overnight, any wildlife watchers?

Great views of buzzards, tawnies calling in the night, just lovely!

Many Thanks.

Small CL site with two toilets, two showers (coin operated) and two sinks for washing up. We stayed here as we wanted to visit RHS Hyde Hall which was about 25 minutes away by car.

Good sized pitch, we had one without electrical hookup, on grass.

We liked the site as it was a small one but you would need to drive if you wanted to go out for a meal.

We did walk to nearby Hylands Park along the road and then up an unmarked footpath but the road is a country one with no pavements so I wouldn't have wanted to do this with walk with children or dogs.

Spacious site between pitches, level. Pitches have own EHU, water taps in good location.

Managers very helpful.

Clean showers and WC, purpose built.

Good value. Would come again.

Near to Chelmsford.

Lovely quiet little campsite a short distance from Chelmsford (3-4 miles) and close to a village with a pub or two.

Cycling around there is great too. Enjoyed my stay

The site was small and quiet. The facilities were clean and tidy.

It was very convenient for the course I was attending at Writtle College.

I was hoping to walk but didn’t feel safe walking along the main road to the nearest footpath.
