Lovely quiet site, spacious pitches.
Clean excellent facilities. 20min walk to station for Canterbury.
15 min walk to great little store for essentials.
Chilham village is olde worlde with two great pubs.
Can recommend not just as a stop over site but somewhere to stay and explore Kent

Good size level pitches with privacy hedge. Well equipped washrooms with large showers with plenty of hooks and heated towel rails.
Indoor pot washing facilities. Washing machine and dryer at additional charge £5
Electric showers are hot, but spray not very powerful. Overall good value for money. £26 for pitch, 2 adults including electric and water tap.

Lovely campsite. Gorgeous views. Warm welcome from Pete shortly after I had arrived and settled in with my little dog. Great facilities - useful information typed up for campers to take away and review to learn about the local area.
Pitches well spaced and very well presented and maintained. Mine had ehu, grass space and hard standing. It had a little fence and some hedging around it which was charming (and the fence was handy for drying damp towels!).
The toilet and shower block was spotless and very well equipped - it had a washing up area and washing machine - as well as a notice board with local info.
There was a waste point and recycling area. Drinking water taps also readily available.
I found that I had great 5g mobile signal (giffgaff) and 4g on EE WiFi dongle on my pitch…came in handy for a random virtual meeting even though I hadn’t planned to be working at all!
In the paddock next door were some mini horses and some emus/ostriches. Lovely walking in the nearby area.
I will definitely go back. Top marks from me! :)

Perfect site with lovely large and level pitches with both grass and gravel. Very quiet but with easy access to the A28 and Canterbury, Whitstable, Ashford etc. Modest facilities but all you need, and showers at least as good as at home.
We were warned there might be building work going on nearby, but it was some way away and we didn't hear anything.
Our SatNav made us approach from the north, which is not recommended especially if you are towing or driving a long vehicle. This meant we missed the site sign, which points the other way, and had to execute an awkward U-turn.

Views across the vineyards are lovely and and interesting animal sanctury behind (though not noisy). In the heart of Kent & handy for all the major attractions.
We caught the train from Chilham into Canterbury to avoid the traffic, which meant a mile walk but it led us past Chilham shop; nice local produce.
Friendly campsite owners, all the main facilities you need & clean.

Been trying to get a pitch on this site for some time and with a brand new awning to test out this opportunity came just right.
Easy to find, easy access, close to supermarket and historic town of Canterbury.
I can only echo the other reviewers comments. Quiet (apart from the odd noises made by the Emu's; which weren't loud but it took a while to work out what it was), large pitches, set up how you like, ours had its own tap as well so very happy.
Limited but clean facilities but the pricing structure reflects this; who needs expensive looking facilities when you have a modern unit, we never use them.
We'd certainly recommend this site despite not seeing or hearing from the owners while we were there so can't comment on customerservice.
Yes, the awning was a success, thank you.

Only booked this a few days before travel. Prompt response and easy payment over email and PayPal. Easy site to find.
Didn’t see the owners at all during our stay, which was no problem. Toilet and shower block currently undergoing upgrade.
Walls needed finishing but perfectly functional and will be excellent once finished.
Pitches are well laid out and we had a nice view over the downs and the sunsets. Some road noise during the day but easily ignored.
Great site for a good walk out on the Norths Downs Way.
Public transport links to Canterbury nearby, which we gratefully used. Great location if you want to travel out to see the coastal towns. Good road links.
All in all a very pleasant site that we would be more than happy to use again when we travel this way.
