Lovely owners and staff. Very friendly and they were around and always willing to chat.

The site was immaculate. The grass was kept short and strimmed.

The toilets/shower blocks and the pot wash area were super clean. Could not be faulted.

The Kestrel Shepherds Hut was brilliant. Loads of room. 2 single beds, a table and a couple of chairs. A nice rug on the floor so no cold feet !

My dog loved it.

Good `structure` to cook on outside. Ideal to make a cuppa or cook a meal.

It`s a 30 minute walk down the canal and through Whitchurch Waterways Country Park into Whitchurch. Ideal for exercising the mutt. Some really lovely scenery.

Plenty of Geocaches along the canal.

Whitchurch is a nice old town and has some great pubs (all of which were dog friendly)

If you want a woodland walk it takes about 30 minutes to get to Dansons Woods. Not a massive wood but good to let the dog have a wander and an explore.

The on site cafe was excellent. Really nice atmosphere and cheery, friendly staff. Good value for money and cracking food.

I loved relaxing with a couple of beers on the decking overlooking the pool

I will be back.

Disliked

The road noise - although to be fair you soon zoned it out.

It didn`t stop my enjoyment of this cracking site

Adults only site by canal. Nice site, well kept. Small cafe near entrance. Facilities good and clean.

Grass site has level pitches and more sloped pitches nearer the road. Dog agility area and off lead area, unfortunately weather was too hot to use. Walk along canal lovely and about 30 to 40 mins you are in nice town of Whitchurch. Road can be noisy but didn’t bother us.

It wasn’t too busy when we arrived but it got busier at the weekend and the pitches in the grass field are a bit on the small side. If you have an awning there isn’t much room between you. I thought there was a requirement for 6 metres between pitches. We would return but not over a weekend because of space. Not many dog bins about. It would be really helpful to be given a little map of the park and told. Where things are, where to walk, bins etc. There aren’t many signs about, on the website it said there was a wood to walk the dog in but we couldn’t find a wood. Having a dog in the summer months, we often look for campsites with woods for a shady cooler walk so a bit disappointing. Though it was 30c and no shade, not the fault of the campsite owners!

Lovely setting with the pond and pods look nicely spaced out. I think the owners are still improving things

Really nice site; well-kept and peaceful with spacious pitches. There's a large pond overlooked by a communal hut, which seats up to 6. There are also a couple of picnic benches outside.

The Shropshire Canal is just behind the site, and from there you can walk (about 30 minutes) into Whitchurch, which is a nice little town.

Toilets and showers were clean, but the toilets didn't flush very well, and the hand dryers are the weakest I've come across! The disabled shower/toilet in the ladies' was out of order, and apparently has been for some time.

There is also a main road nearby, which can be quite noisy.

On the whole though, I'd definitely recommend the site and would happily stay there again.

Beautiful kept site, No kids peace and quiet. All services immaculately clean, cafe does a fantastic full English.

You can walk along the canal into Whitchurch but would suggest using a car as it's quite a walk.

Dog friendly. Dog agility course. Air rifle range.

On site fishing but most of all peace and quiet around the fishing pond.

I stayed as a 'car camper', that's not sleeping on the front seat, but on a decent mattress in the back of the car with seats down and a duvet for a good nights sleep.

Hadley Caravan Park as just in the right place for my trip north and as it was quite early in the year I choose not to take the tent or bike (I usually ride a motorcycle and pitch a tent). I booked as a tent, it just saved having to explain and the cost was the same.

It's a nice site, close enough to Whitchurch and amenities, with a lovely lake and clean facilities, though I didn't use the showers looked good to me.

There was a little road noise as it's alongside a main road, but it's not intrusive. The key factor for me was the cost, as a solo traveller it's increasingly difficult to find somewhere which charges per person rather than per unit!

I was met on site my the manager and given pitch options which was helpful and advised of what was where, all good.

I could see it would make a good base for a tour of the area

Lovely well spaced site. Water and electric on hard standing.

Toilets and showers immaculate.

Nice fishing pool with canal at back of site.

Friendly on site cafe.

Cant find fault,

Whitchurch is nice place to visit.

Well signposted off main road. Walk up canal to supermarket and mcdonalds.

Will be returning

Lovely quiet well kept site. EHU and water to each pitch. Waste facilities.

Friendly owners. Right near canal, some great walks Good cafe with outside seating area.

Checked in at the cafe by the entrance and invited to pick any vacant pitch. All fully serviced and level. Good size and area amix of touring and seasonal plus a few camping pods.

The toilet and shower block is immaculate. Easy 30 min walk to Whitchurch where nice pubs and shops. If you carry on past the Whitchurch junction you reach some locks and a nice waterside cafe.

The only minor niggles for the site are that the traffic from the nearby A road is within earshot but a pair if earplugs sorts that at night, and there is no grey waste drain for a motorhome.

This did not deter from our stay and can recommend for a small and rural break.

A great little site, spotlessly clean with large pitches.

We stayed for eight nights& although the weather could have been better we thoroughly enjoyed visiting various places along the border countryside.

We will be returning soon & bringing our dog next time as there are lots of potential walks in the area.

I can highly recommend this quiet, reasonably priced site.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. Paul owner extremely welcoming and helpful.

They had a busy Easter weekend with lots of campers in field with camping pods.

There was no noise on site after 8. 30 I think the fresh air and fishing had worn everyone out. We walked into Whitchurch along the canal three times while staying here.

Great spot for Welsh borders and Cheshire. Revisited Ellesmere and a few National Trust places. It does state that this site has touring and seasonal pitches as you drive in.

This just emphasizes how good this place is. Toilets very clean all through our stay even with the amount in people over Easter.

Paul this place is a credit to you.
