Great campsite at a really good price. Showers where hot and clean. Washing up area cold water only just take your thermos up there.
Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Great location. Very limited phone signal but makes the perfect reason to visit the pub opposite for a nice meal or drink as they have free WiFi.

A campsite full of character, with free range chickens and sheep roaming through the field.
The views are spectacular and you can catch the bus just outside the campsite to Pen-Y-Pass & the easier route up Snowdon.
There weren't enough toilets for a bank holiday weekend, 4 in total! So we used the park & ride toilets across the road. The showers lacked power but they did the job.
It was very chilled out, find your own spot & camp fires allowed. A refreshing change to some of the rule based sites I have stayed on. If you're up for an adventure then this is the site for you.

Arrived at 11pm on a Summers Friday night, just pulled up and found a space, went and paid in the morning.
Great little campsite, perfect location, right next to park and ride for snowdon and pub next door.
Shower water was a bit inconsistent but for £10 per night you can’t moan. Definitely coming back

Great little site. Quiet, cheap and a great location!
And they let us leave the tent up until late Sunday afternoon when we had finished our triathlon!

Another return visit, fantastic location, rustic but adequate facilities.
View is amazing and the pub across the road is a bonus.
The visit slightly marred by idiots thinking it's appropriate to play music to the early hours.

Great locality and allowed us to visit many points of interests. We went paddling to Bala lake, climbed Snowdown peak among other activities.
Amazing scenery - situated close to the large mountain.
Bordering with cemetery which played a bit with our imagination at night so it was not boring.
Lovely hot shower facilities and looked after loos.
Large pitching space, no need to reserve spot, always available, so you can just turn up any time.
Overall absolutely adequate as a "home base" to retire to after a day full of activities. We will be coming back again as first visit left us with most pleasant memories!

Amazing, family friendly / dog friendly campsite.
Just the right size with two parks for the kids and very helpful and friendly owners.
So good we came back this year after a brilliant experience the year before.
